Saxon Prime Introduces an Expanded Order Control and Position Risk Toolkit

AMSTERDAM, August 8th, 2026. Saxon Prime has released a set of expanded order management tools and an integrated position risk calculator, making more granular exposure controls available to traders across all supported markets and account types. The update brings bracket orders, configurable trailing stops, and guaranteed stop-loss options into a unified workflow alongside a live risk calculator that computes potential loss in account currency before an order is submitted.

Bracket Orders and Configurable Trailing Stops

The new bracket order structure allows traders to attach a take-profit level and a stop-loss level to a single entry order in one step, removing the need to set protective orders separately after a position is open. Both legs update automatically if the entry is partially filled, and either leg can be modified while the position is live without cancelling the other.

Trailing stop functionality has also been updated. The previous implementation required traders to enter a fixed trail distance, which remained static once set. The revised version supports a percentage based trail in addition to a fixed point trail, and the trailing level recalculates continuously as the market moves in the trader’s favour rather than only at discrete price intervals. For positions held across sessions, the trail anchor resets at the market open using the previous close rather than the last tick, a behaviour that eliminates the gap-driven stop widening that affected some overnight positions under the old logic.

Guaranteed Stop-Loss Orders and the Risk Calculator

Guaranteed stop-loss orders are now available on a broader range of instruments than the previous implementation covered. When a guaranteed stop is attached to a position, the closure price is assured at the nominated level regardless of slippage or a gap through the stop. A premium is charged for this certainty, and the cost is shown in account currency on the order ticket before confirmation, so the trader can weigh the protection against its price explicitly.

The integrated position risk calculator sits alongside the order entry panel. Before submitting an order, traders enter their intended lot size or contract quantity and the calculator returns the maximum cash exposure in account currency based on the stop distance. The figure updates live as the stop level or position size changes, and it is shown alongside the margin requirement so both dimensions of an order’s cost are visible at the same point in the workflow. The calculator carries through to bracket orders and guaranteed stops, updating the displayed exposure figure to reflect whichever protective structure is attached.

Phased Rollout Across Account Tiers and Market Coverage

The expanded toolkit is available to all account tiers without a tiered gate. Access does not depend on account balance thresholds, trading history, or a minimum deposit above the standard entry level. Bracket orders and configurable trailing stops apply across equity indices, foreign exchange pairs, and commodity markets available on the platform. Guaranteed stop-loss orders are available on a designated subset of instruments where liquidity conditions support the assurance, a full list is published in the trading conditions section of SaxonPrimeMarket.com

The rollout is being delivered in a single release rather than a staged instrument by instrument expansion. Saxon Prime stated that testing was conducted across live market conditions over a period of several months before deployment, with a focus on how the trailing stop anchor behaved around scheduled economic data releases and market open gaps.

“A review of our internal product roadmap identified order level risk controls as the area where the gap between what traders needed and what we had built was widest,” said a spokesperson for Saxon Prime. “The bracket order and the risk calculator address the same problem from two directions: one structures the trade before it is placed, and the other makes the cash consequence of that structure legible in account terms rather than abstract pip figures.”

Context and Access

The release follows a period in which Saxon Prime extended its instrument coverage and updated its charting environment. Adding order-level risk controls to the workflow reflects a focus on what happens between selecting a market and managing an open position, rather than on the analytical tools that precede that step. The platform made no changes to existing order types that traders already had in place; the expanded options sit alongside standard market and limit orders and do not replace them.

Traders can access the updated order panel through the platform’s standard web interface. Full documentation, including worked examples of bracket order configuration and guaranteed stop pricing, is available in the help centre at SaxonPrimeMarket.com. Existing positions and saved order templates are unaffected by the release and remain accessible through the same interface.
