KIWIPI Launches the Kiwi PI M1: Smart Box for AI/Fintech Applications

Shenzhen Tianyue Zhichuang Technology Co., Ltd. (KIWIPI) announces the launch of its latest product, the Kiwi PI M1, a compact yet powerful Android/Linux/Debian Smart Box. Combining cutting-edge hardware and high performance, the M1 is a good choice for AI/fintech applications and multimedia processing. 

Performance 

The Kiwi Pi M1 features a Rockchip RK3588 quad-core ARM 64-bit processor that has four Cortex-A76 cores running at 2.2GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores operating at 1.8GHz. The CPU is manufactured on an 8nm process. The device also has an ARM Mali-G610 MC4 GPU, which supports graphics standards like OpenGL ES, OpenCL, and Vulkan, suitable for image processing and gaming.

The M1 has a tri-core NPU that can perform many AI tasks quickly. It supports different types of data, such as int4, int8, int16, FP16, BF16, and TF32.

The Kiwi PI M1 features capabilities suited for Fintech and AI applications. It has a powerful NPU with high-speed processing. Ideal for AI and Fintech tasks.  

Multimedia and Storage Capabilities

The M1 is a device that processes multimedia tasks. It can decode 8K@60 fps for formats such as H.265, VP9, and AVS2. It also supports 8K@30fps for H.264, and 4K@60 fps for AV1. The device can handle 32 channels of 1080p video at 30 fps for decoding, and 16 channels for encoding at the same time. 

The device comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, expandable to 32GB (options of 4/8/16/32GB). It also offers up to 512GB (options: 64/128/256/512GB) of eMMC 5.1 storage.

x2 Type-C ports with USB 3.1-OTG, DisplayPort Alt mode, and Power Delivery support;

  • x1 USB 3.0 and x1 USB 2.0 ports
  • x1 HDMI 2.1 output that can support 8K/ 60fps or 4K /120fps
  • x1 WiFi 6 (2.4/5 IEEE802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and Bluetooth 5.0
  • x1 Ethernet port with 1000 Mbps speed for wired connection
  • A touch screen measuring 3.16 inches with a resolution of 820×320
  • Speakers with 8Ω impedance and 2W power, and a 3.5mm headphone jack
  • The device measures 160mm by 160mm by 38mm and weighs 820 grams.

The M1 works with a Type-C PD 12V/2A power adapter. It uses about 1.35W when idle and up to 20W at full load. Its RTC with CR1220 battery keeps time reliably. The device has a capacitive touch power button with LED indicators.
This device is built to last. It works in temperatures from 0°C to 60°C and can be stored in temperatures from -40°C to 70°C. It can be used in difficult conditions.

OS Support

The device runs on Linux 5.10 (with an option for Linux 6.10) and supports Android 12, Ubuntu 22.04, and Debian 11, offering flexibility for developers and users across different platforms.
