Best Crypto to Buy Now as Bitcoin (BTC) Gains Momentum? Analysts Mention MUTM

Bitcoin has shown signs of renewed momentum in March. Recent market coverage pointed to ETF-driven demand, a push back above $70,000, and improving sentiment after a more volatile start to the year. Binance-linked market analysis also described March as a period of stabilization rather than panic, while another recent report said bitcoin was up roughly 8% so far in March as macro conditions steadied.

When bitcoin starts regaining strength, investors often look beyond BTC itself for earlier-stage opportunities that could benefit from improving sentiment. That is why some analysts are mentioning Mutuum Finance (MUTM), a DeFi token currently priced at $0.04 during presale and expected to launch at $0.06.

What Mutuum Finance Is and How It Works

Mutuum is being developed as a decentralized, non-custodial lending and borrowing protocol. The platform allows users to participate in two ways. In the Peer-to-Contract (P2C) model, users supply assets into shared liquidity pools, and borrowers draw liquidity from those pools based on collateral and protocol-defined parameters. In the Peer-to-Peer (P2P) model, users can arrange more customized lending and borrowing agreements directly, which opens the door to more flexible markets for assets that are not always handled efficiently in standard pooled systems.

That flexibility is one of the project’s more interesting angles. In P2P arrangements, the protocol can support lending and borrowing of more volatile assets, including meme coins such as Dogecoin and Shiba Inu, under negotiated terms rather than only relying on broad pooled parameters. That expands the use case beyond standard lending markets and gives the protocol a wider DeFi profile than a simple pool-only platform.

Why the Presale Has Been Building Momentum

Mutuum launched at $0.01 in phase one and has now reached $0.04, which means the token has already advanced 300% during its presale stages. The project has raised over $20.8 million, attracted more than 19,000 holders, and sold around 850 million tokens from the 1.82 billion allocated to presale. For investors who follow early-stage launches, those figures suggest the project is already building a meaningful base before exchange trading begins.

The token model adds to that case. Users who deposit assets into the protocol receive mtTokens representing their positions and accrued interest. Those mtTokens can later be used in the protocol’s safety module, where MUTM distributions are funded through platform-generated activity. That design is intended to connect token demand to usage inside the ecosystem rather than only to external speculation.

Lending and Borrowing Examples Make the Use Case Easier to See

The protocol is easier to understand with practical examples. On the lending side, a user depositing $20,000 into a pool generating about 8% APY could earn roughly $1,600 annually if rates remain near that level. On the borrowing side, the benefit is capital access without forcing a sale of long-term holdings. If a user deposits $5,000 worth of ETH as collateral and the protocol allows borrowing near an 80% loan-to-value ratio, that user could unlock about $4,000 in liquidity while still keeping exposure to ETH.

That kind of capital efficiency is one of the reasons lending protocols remain attractive in DeFi. It allows lenders to earn passive returns and borrowers to maintain upside in their core holdings without liquidating them.

Why the Roadmap Matters

Mutuum’s longer-term appeal also depends on what comes after launch. The roadmap already shows progress across development and testnet delivery, but the future utility story gets stronger with the planned native stablecoin, which could deepen liquidity and create a more self-contained borrowing ecosystem. Combined with platform enhancements and broader expansion plans, that future development path gives the token a more credible long-term use case than a project with no ecosystem growth beyond launch.

Bitcoin may remain the core market driver as momentum returns, but improving sentiment often pushes investors to look at smaller tokens with more room to move. Mutuum Finance is being mentioned in that context because it combines early pricing, visible presale traction, and a DeFi model with multiple use cases. For investors watching the presale, there is still time to buy MUTM tokens at what remains one of the project’s lowest price levels before launch.
