Web3 company Punkvism has announced the upcoming launch of its new NFT project, ‘Punky Society’, aiming to bring K-NFTs back to the global stage.
From 2021 to 2022, various K-NFT projects were attempted both domestically and internationally, but many struggled to achieve notable success due to repeated challenges and setbacks.
Punkvism, known for its mission of “adventurers resisting an unjust society,” declared the revival of K-NFTs by launching the ‘Punky Kongz’ NFT on November 20 last year. Currently, ‘Punky Kongz NFT’ is listed on the Magic Eden NFT marketplace and has consistently ranked within the top 50 global NFT trading volumes since its release.
The ‘Punky Society’ project will offer exchange benefits for existing NFT holders, including LGO NFT, Baby Kongz NFT, Baby Kongz Incubator, Renaissance NFT, and Pixel Ground NFT. The specific details regarding the exchange process and quantity will be announced in a separate notice.
Holders of LGO NFT and other eligible NFTs will soon be able to check the exchange application process through the upcoming ‘Punky Society’ application website.
Additionally, Punkvism plans to conduct an airdrop for Genesis NFT holders, with the snapshot being taken unexpectedly, urging holders to stay vigilant.
Hyunki Hwang, CEO of Punkvism, acknowledged the difficulties experienced by holders of the Renaissance NFT and Pixel Ground NFT projects, stating “We recognize the challenges faced by holders and hope this exchange can offer some form of compensation for their past hardships.”
Emphasizing a positive outlook for the K-NFT ecosystem, He added “With the launch of Punky Society and our continued efforts, we will not stop striving to create greater value. We welcome all ‘Punky Beasts’ to join us in the global resurgence of K-NFTs alongside Punkvism.”
