Data Squared (Data²) and World Wide Technology (WWT) have announced a new partnership aimed at transforming how federal agencies handle data analytics. The collaboration integrates Data²’s advanced AI platform, reView, with WWT’s extensive IT infrastructure and government contracting experience, providing U.S. agencies with a powerful, secure, and transparent solution for unlocking insights from vast amounts of siloed data.
Data²’s reView platform uses patented Graph and Hybrid retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) AI systems to deliver explainable AI that not only extracts actionable intelligence but also maintains full transparency. The platform integrates with any commercial or private large language model (LLM), offering federal agencies flexibility while adhering to zero-trust security and compliance standards.
Jon Brewton, CEO of Data², said, “Government agencies are drowning in data but starving for actionable intelligence. By combining our advanced knowledge graph technology and flexible architecture with WWT’s unparalleled expertise in federal IT infrastructure, we’re creating a solution that not only manages data but actually transforms it into a powerful intelligence asset with full transparency and traceability.”
Brandon Bulldis, WWT’s Federal Civilian Engineering Director, added, “The platform’s ability to work with any LLM – whether commercial, open source, or privately developed – gives our customers the freedom to choose the right model for their specific needs while maintaining a consistent, secure infrastructure.”
The partnership’s centerpiece is the integration of Data²’s reView platform into WWT’s Advanced Technology Center (ATC). This collaborative space allows government customers to test and tailor solutions in a production-ready environment before deployment, significantly reducing risks and accelerating implementation.
WWT, a leading global technology solutions provider and the largest Black-owned company in the U.S., brings its decades of experience working with government clients to the partnership. Starting as a small government contractor in the early 1990s, WWT has since grown to more than 12,000 employees, with a focus on cutting-edge technologies and infrastructure solutions.
Founded by military veterans, Data² is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that leverages advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning to help organizations harness their data. According to DefenseScoop, the veteran-led team’s early work included collaboration with the Air Force Research Lab and Space Force.
The partnership aims to help federal agencies overcome challenges like data silos and fragmented tools that impede effective collaboration.
The company says its reView platform has already demonstrated success in reducing time-to-insight, identifying complex relationships in data, and providing transparent AI-driven insights.
For federal agencies, the solution is now available through WWT’s federal contracting vehicles, with dedicated proof-of-concept programs to test the platform before full deployment, according to a press release from the companies.
This announcement comes on the heels of another important development in the government’s AI efforts. The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has partnered with OpenAI to offer federal agencies access to ChatGPT Enterprise for just $1 per agency. The deal, part of the GSA’s OneGov Strategy, is designed to modernize how the federal government purchases goods and services.
As the federal sector looks to modernize its data analytics capabilities, this partnership between Data² and WWT is set to be a game-changer, offering a flexible, secure, and high-performing solution for unlocking the full potential of government data.
