Solana Turns Bullish, But This $0.035 Altcoin Could Be Q4’s Best Crypto to Buy

The crypto market is heating up again as strong performers begin to emerge ahead of year-end. Solana’s (SOL) bullish reversal has caught the spotlight, yet many investors are looking past the large caps in search of higher upside. One new contender — Mutuum Finance (MUTM) — is quickly gaining traction with its presale nearing $20 million and Phase 6 close to selling out.

Solana (SOL)

Solana has reclaimed its place among the top cryptocurrencies, now trading around $197–$200 with a market cap of over $100 billion. The token recently bounced from key support at $190, and traders are watching for a clean breakout above the $200 resistance zone. If that level turns into new support, SOL could climb toward $215 in the coming weeks.

Despite this strength, Solana’s price remains capped by consistent selling pressure around $200. Analysts note that large holders recently moved over a million SOL to exchanges, signaling potential profit-taking. That could limit short-term growth, especially since Solana’s market capitalization is already large — making it harder to multiply in value quickly.

Mutuum Finance (MUTM)

While Solana consolidates, Mutuum Finance (MUTM) is attracting investors seeking higher growth potential. The project has already raised over $18.1 million and reached more than 17,500 holders. The token is priced at $0.035 in its current stage, up from $0.01 in early phases. When it lists at $0.06, investors who entered now could see token appreciation of 200–300%.

Mutuum Finance is developing a decentralized lending and borrowing protocol that operates through two complementary systems: a Peer-to-Contract market for major tokens such as ETH and USDT, and a Peer-to-Peer marketplace for less common assets. This design allows users to lend, borrow, or earn yield while keeping full control of their funds.

The project also passed a CertiK audit with a 90/100 Token Scan score, providing additional confidence in its smart-contract security — a key factor for investors comparing DeFi projects ahead of launch.

MUTM vs SOL: The Growth Contrast

Solana’s network strength is clear, but its scale also limits potential returns. At a $100 billion valuation, doubling from here would require massive new inflows. For investors entering at $200, a 3x gain would mean Solana reaching $600 — a difficult move for such a large-cap asset.

By contrast, Mutuum Finance is still in its early stages, priced at just $0.035 with a much smaller total valuation. A $700 investment today could buy 20,000 MUTM tokens. If the price reaches $0.35, an achievable 10x increase based on similar DeFi growth cycles, that same $700 would potentially turn into $7,000.

Mutuum Finance also benefits from a buy-and-distribute mechanism, where part of the platform’s fees are used to buy MUTM tokens on the open market and redistribute them to users who stake mtTokens in the safety module.

This process builds continuous buying pressure and connects real protocol revenue with token value — something Solana, as a general-purpose chain, doesn’t directly offer. In other words, Solana’s scale makes it a strong network, but Mutuum Finance’s model gives it room to grow faster.

V1 Testnet Launch and Rapid Phase 6 Progress

Mutuum Finance is now preparing to launch its V1 protocol on the Sepolia Testnet in Q4 2025, introducing the project’s main components — the Liquidity Pool, mtToken, Debt Token, and Liquidator Bot. Initially, ETH and USDT will be supported for lending, borrowing, and collateral use, chosen for their liquidity and reliability.

This milestone will mark Mutuum Finance’s transition from concept to a working product, a phase that often leads to a rise in investor confidence. The team has also hinted that once the platform goes live, major exchange listings could follow, further improving visibility for $MUTM.

Meanwhile, Phase 6 of the presale is selling out quickly. Each stage features a fixed price and limited allocation, meaning the faster demand grows, the sooner the next price increase begins. With the current momentum, Phase 7 at $0.04 could open sooner than expected. Mutuum Finance has also made entry easier: investors can now buy MUTM directly with a card and no purchase limits, removing barriers for those new to crypto investing.

Solana may continue its upward move if it breaks above $200, but its size limits short-term returns. Mutuum Finance, still early in development and priced under four cents, offers a clear opportunity for higher upside as its presale nears completion and V1 protocol rollout approaches.
