Cybersecurity company Guardforce AI Launches DVGO, an AI Travel Planning Tool

Cybersecurity

Guardforce AI, a cybersecurity company, has announced DVGO (short for DeepVoyage Go), a travel planning tool that generates fully-fledged itineraries for travel agencies.

Although the travel industry is ostensibly a significant pivot from Guardforce AI’s standard offerings (secure logistics, cybersecurity and robot-as-a-service), DVGO isn’t the company’s first foray into travel technology. It follows on the heels of the company’s RoboTravel Agent, a smart terminal that recommends helpful purchase for travelers.

Designed specifically for travel planners at agencies, DVGO’s biggest selling point is that it “leverages task-specific AI agents that replicate the expertise of professional travel advisors,” according to its press release.

Translated into plain English, that means DVGO can generate itineraries in minutes rather than hours or days. By analyzing up-to-date Google reviews and travel guides for popular tourism hotspots, it can suggest places to visit, eat, and stay based on the user’s desired trip criteria—such as travel length, activity intensity, budget, and more.

Most importantly, it claims to understand user conversations semantically to uncover their hidden needs for a more enjoyable trip.

Once the itinerary has been generated, users will also have the option to customize the travel destinations before exporting it as a presentation-ready document. If a client has questions while the travel agent is offline, DVGO also includes an AI chatbot feature to respond to basic inquiries.

Currently, DVGO is in its invite-only beta phase with the full release expected on May 9, 2025. The beta launch targets the U.S. market, with plans to expand into the Asia-Pacific region. Upon release, the company promises a three-day free trial before transitioning to a subscription-based model at an undisclosed price.

“With DVGO, we are applying our expertise in AI and robotics to develop practical, business-focused AI solutions,” said Olivia Wang, Chairwoman and Chief Executive Officer of Guardforce AI. “Building on the success of our concierge robots and RoboTravel Agent (RTA) deployments, we are committed to integrating AI into real-world productivity tools.”

Guardforce AI’s initiative with DVGO showcases the company’s dedication to harnessing AI and robotics for tangible business applications. By leveraging their expertise in concierge robots and RoboTravel Agents, they’re poised to revolutionize industries with cutting-edge technology.

This strategic move underscores the growing demand for AI-driven productivity solutions, enabling businesses to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and improve customer experiences. With DVGO, Guardforce AI is well-positioned to capitalize on emerging trends and solidify its presence in the AI landscape. Their commitment to innovation and practical application will likely yield significant benefits for businesses and consumers alike.

By integrating AI into everyday tools, Guardforce AI is driving progress and setting new standards for intelligent automation. As the company continues to push boundaries, its impact on the future of work and industry productivity will be noteworthy. With Olivia Wang at the helm, Guardforce AI’s vision for AI-infused productivity is becoming a reality, transforming the way businesses operate and interact with technology.
