As per CSSF’s June 10th Tag Markets fraud warning;

Tag Markets/ Tag Markets Ltd/T.M Financial Ltd is not supervised by the CSSF and has not been granted any authorisation to provide investment services or other financial services in or from Luxembourg.

CSSF cites the entities Tag Markets, Tag Markets LTD and T.M Financial LTD, as well as a corporate mailing address in Mauritius.

Tag Markets runs an MLM crypto Ponzi factory from subdomains hosted on “ibportal.io”.

Known Tag Markets Ponzi schemes include Crowd1 (collapsed), Zeus Funding (collapsed), Exfusion, Bit1 (Daisy Global) and AI Tech. “Sonic AI” and “Stratify” are ruses that pop up across Tag Market’s various scams.

Although its associated shell companies are registered in St. Lucia and Mauritius, Tag Markets is run from Dubai by owner Jared Esguerra.

Tag Markets originally presented Colombian national Kevin Marin as co-founder and CEO:

These days Niklas “Nik” Freihofer, another European hiding out in Dubai, does the rounds as Tag Markets’ CEO:

In addition to Luxembourg, Russia and Austria have also issued Tag Markets fraud warnings.

On its website, Tag Markets clarifies that it specifically targets poorer countries and/or countries with little to no active securities regulation;

Regional restriction:

The Company services a global client base, with a primary focus on clients in the MENA, Asia, and African regions, including countries such as Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Qatar, Oman, Philippines, Turkey, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Thailand, Mauritius, Egypt, South Africa, and Kenya.

As of May 2026, SimilarWeb was tracking ~680,000 monthly Tag Markets website visits. 141,000 visits were tracked for Tag Markets’ “IB Portal” domain.

During the same month top sources of Tag Markets website traffic were Germany (30%), Croatia (17%), the UK (10%), Slovenia (7%) and Switzerland (5%).

Top sources of traffic to Tag Markets’ “IB Portal” domain were Germany (20%), Croatia (18%), Norway (15%), the US (12%) and the UK (11%).

From this we can surmise, despite claims on it website, Tag Markets primarily targets European consumers. Tag Markets is not registered to offer securities in any country it solicits investment in.
