KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia. International recording artist Naseem Sultan is preparing what he calls the most important release of his career, a bilingual single titled “Aku Cinta Malaysia.” The track arrives on 24 August 2026 across major streaming platforms, performed in both Malay and Arabic as a tribute to Malaysia and its ties with the Middle East.

Release at a glance

  • Title: “Aku Cinta Malaysia,” performed in Malay and Arabic
  • Release date: 24 August 2026, across major digital streaming platforms
  • Music video: launching ahead of Malaysia’s National Day on 31 August
  • Album: a multilingual project scheduled for completion later in 2026

The single builds on the momentum of Sultan’s Spanish-language release “TUYO.” That track drew more than one million combined views, streams, and engagements within weeks of its launch earlier this year. A cinematic music video, produced with AI-assisted techniques, carried the song to new audiences and widened the artist’s reach as a multilingual performer.

“This song comes from the heart,” said Naseem Sultan. “Malaysia has played an important role in my life and career. Through ‘Aku Cinta Malaysia,’ I wanted to express gratitude to the people, culture, and opportunities I have experienced here over the years.”

The release date carries personal weight. It falls on Sultan’s birthday and lands just days before Malaysia’s National Day on 31 August. The artist calls the timing symbolic, joining a personal milestone with a tribute to the country that shaped his journey.

“This release is very special to me,” he said. “Sharing it on my birthday and just before Merdeka makes it even more meaningful. It is my way of celebrating Malaysia through music.”

The accompanying music video is in production. It pairs cinematic production with imagery drawn from Malaysia’s multicultural identity, built around themes of unity, respect, and cultural harmony. Sultan plans to release teaser materials first, followed by the official audio and the full video as the countdown to Merdeka begins.

The first version of “Aku Cinta Malaysia” ships in Malay and Arabic, with English and other language adaptations under consideration. Sultan wants the song to reach listeners far beyond Southeast Asia.

The single anchors a wider multilingual album set for completion later in 2026. That project spans Arabic, English, Spanish, Malay, Mandarin, Hindi, Tamil, and more, blending musical styles across languages into a single international body of work.

Video productions tied to the album have run across Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Dubai. The locations reflect the project’s international scope and Sultan’s aim to connect audiences across borders. With a combined following of more than one million across platforms, he continues to grow his reach while keeping strong ties to both Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Several collaborations with Malaysian and international artists are in development, with announcements expected in the coming months.

“Music has the power to connect people regardless of language, nationality, or background,” Sultan said. “If this song can inspire unity, appreciation, and understanding between cultures, then it has achieved its purpose.”
