Lightspeed debuts Locations Manager for multi-site hospitality businesses

Lightspeed has launched Locations Manager in beta, a central command centre for multi-location hospitality businesses designed to give them greater control and visibility across all venues.

Built specifically for restaurant groups and hospitality operators managing multiple sites, Locations Manager enables businesses to oversee key operational functions from a single dashboard. The new feature is designed to simplify the management of menus and products across venues, helping operators reduce manual work, save time and maintain consistency while still allowing individual locations the flexibility to adapt to local customer preferences.

With this first iteration of Locations Manager, operators can now share items, create menus and sync updates across multiple venues in just a few clicks. Tasks that previously required hours of manual updates across separate systems can now be completed centrally, significantly improving efficiency and reducing the risk of errors. At the same time, individual sites retain the ability to make location-specific adjustments where required, striking a balance between brand consistency and local autonomy.

Liam Crooks, MD of EMEA Hospitality, commented on the launch: “In today’s challenging business environment, time is money for the hospitality industry. Locations Manager has been designed to take away the hassle of manual menu updates for multi-site operators, helping them save time and reduce errors. For diners, it provides consistency across locations with the aim of building stronger connections between multi-location restaurants and their regulars.”

Locations Manager is available now in beta for select customers, with wider availability expected later this month. Lightspeed has also outlined plans for future updates that will further enhance the platform’s capabilities. Upcoming features are expected to include centralised user permission management, business-wide invoice visibility and enhanced unified reporting, giving operators an even more comprehensive view of performance across their entire estate.

The launch follows a series of recent product innovations from Lightspeed aimed at giving restaurateurs greater operational control and flexibility. These include Lightspeed Reservations, which helps restaurants manage online and phone bookings through a single system; Lightspeed Tasks, a digital checklist solution that helps teams prioritise and complete operational tasks; Lightspeed Tempo, a performance dashboard that provides insights into key service moments to optimise pacing and increase table turnover; and Lightspeed AI, an AI-powered assistant that enables operators to access guidance, answer questions and make informed decisions without needing to navigate multiple reports or dashboards.

Together, this growing suite of tools is designed to help hospitality operators improve efficiency, reduce complexity and adapt to an increasingly competitive market. By bringing operational management, guest experience and business intelligence into a connected ecosystem, Lightspeed aims to support restaurants as they scale and grow.

Looking ahead, Lightspeed is continuing to invest in innovation and European expansion. As part of this strategy, the company plans to enter the Spanish market in 2026, bringing its hospitality technology platform to one of Europe’s most vibrant and dynamic restaurant sectors. The move reflects Lightspeed’s broader mission to empower hospitality businesses around the world with the tools they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry. thanks you so much
