The Nine MYRONYX Global Awards Categories: Which One Is Yours

Nine MYRONYX Global Awards Categories

The hardest part of entering the MYRONYX Global Awards is not writing the application. It is choosing the right one of nine — because strong work submitted to the wrong category reads as unfocused work in the right one.

The MYRONYX Global Awards runs its programmes as separate cycles rather than as a single annual event: each category has its own submission window, its own evaluation and its own announcement. Nine categories cover business, digital, health and beauty, and the criteria are calibrated separately for each.

Below is what each MYRONYX category actually rewards, what evidence it expects, and how to tell the confusable ones apart.

Three categories about innovation — and how they differ

This is where most applicants hesitate, because MYRONYX runs three innovation tracks and their names do not make the distinction obvious. The difference is one of scope, not of quality.

Technology & Innovation Awards — for a technology, product or innovation programme that works and has moved numbers. MYRONYX judges look for originality, practical implementation and proven impact on efficiency, growth or customer value at scale. The test: you built something, it runs in production, and you can show what changed.

Disruptive Innovation — not for the product but for the model. This MYRONYX category is for bold ideas and business models that challenge convention and redefine a market: transformative potential, a differentiated value proposition, and results proving change beyond incremental improvement. The test: you altered how the game is played, not only how well you play it.

Golden Award for Innovation — the highest tier. MYRONYX reserves it for category-defining achievements with strategic, commercial and industry-wide impact, combining originality, execution excellence, scalability and measurable long-term value for the broader ecosystem. The test: your market is different because you exist, and other players had to respond.

If you are unsure between Technology & Innovation and Disruptive Innovation, ask whether your evidence is mostly about performance or mostly about the shape of the market. Performance points to the former.

Two categories about how the company is run

Business & Leadership Excellence — for organisations and leaders showing exceptional performance, strategic clarity and sustainable growth. MYRONYX rewards strong governance, resilient leadership decisions, operational excellence and measurable long-term value created for customers, teams and stakeholders. Note the emphasis: this is about the quality of decisions and of the operation, not about a single product win. In leadership-oriented MYRONYX categories, applicants are expected to hold executive authority or demonstrable strategic decision-making responsibility.

Client Experience Excellence — for end-to-end customer experience across all touchpoints. MYRONYX looks for measurable improvements in satisfaction, loyalty, retention and service quality, achieved through strategy, execution discipline and customer-centric innovation. Where Business & Leadership is about how the company is steered, this one is about what customers actually experience — and it is the category where retention and satisfaction data do the heavy lifting.

Two categories where policies are not enough

Both of these MYRONYX tracks ask for outcomes rather than intentions, and this is the most common reason entries in them underperform.

Diversity & Inclusion Excellence — for organisations building inclusive cultures and equitable systems with measurable outcomes. MYRONYX judges look for a clear strategy, leadership accountability, talent impact and proven progress in representation, belonging, opportunity access and sustainable cultural transformation. A published policy is not an entry; movement in the numbers is.

Sustainability & Impact Awards — for organisations integrating environmental and social responsibility into core business strategy, with measurable progress in emissions reduction, resource efficiency, circular practices and responsible sourcing. Again the operative word in the MYRONYX criteria is measurable: the entry needs a baseline, a method and a delta.

Two specialised categories

Health & Wellness Awards — for innovations and leadership improving health outcomes, wellness access and quality of life. MYRONYX evaluates evidence-based solutions, user impact and measurable results across healthcare delivery, prevention or wellbeing ecosystems. The bar on evidence here is higher than elsewhere by nature: clinical or outcome data carries more weight than user enthusiasm.

Regional Excellence (USA) — for companies and leaders delivering significant impact specifically in the U.S. market. MYRONYX assesses market relevance, execution strength, local-to-national scalability and measurable contribution to business performance and industry development. This is the category to choose when the audience you need to convince is American rather than global.

If two categories fit

A simple rule, and it is the one that separates strong MYRONYX entries from wasted ones: choose the category where your evidence is strongest, not the one whose name sounds most impressive.

Every MYRONYX category is scored against defined criteria on a weighted scale, and evaluation rests exclusively on the submitted materials. A Golden Award application without ecosystem-level proof scores worse than a Technology & Innovation application with solid production numbers — even though the Golden Award is the more prestigious line to win. Ambition in the choice of category is not rewarded; fit is.

When to apply

Because each MYRONYX category runs as its own cycle, the windows do not all stand open at once. Some programmes for the current season have already concluded; for those, a nomination request can be lodged on the priority list for the upcoming round.

The practical step is to check which MYRONYX windows are currently open before you start writing, and to work backwards from the window that suits the evidence you will actually have ready. Submitting to an earlier window and submitting a stronger application are not the same decision.

The MYRONYX Global Awards is an international recognition programme in business, digital, health and beauty, with ceremonies held in New York. Applications are evaluated by an independent jury on merit and on the basis of submitted materials. Category details and current submission windows: myronyxglobal.com.
