Phone flashlights are great right up until you need your phone for something else. Olight’s ArkPro Ultra has always lived in the gap between “I need some light” and “I actually need the right kind of light,” and its newest Amber Orange edition gives that very practical tool a brighter look for fall.
Olight unveiled the colorway during O-Fan Day 2026. It goes on sale September 21 at 8:00 p.m. ET for $129.99. The internals stay familiar; the big change is a new metallic orange body with black accents and a more elaborate finishing process.
The orange finish is tougher than it looks
According to Olight, the body goes through a three-step OAL anodizing process: anodizing, precision machining, then a second anodizing treatment. The company says it tested more than 100 combinations before locking in the final finish, which can offer up to twice the scratch resistance of its standard color anodizing. That sounds especially useful for something that will spend its life rubbing against keys, chargers, clips, and whatever else is living in your backpack.
Four light sources cover a lot of everyday situations
The ArkPro Ultra combines Pure Flood, Spotlight, 365 nm UV, and a Class 3R green laser behind one rotary selector. Maximum output is 1,700 lumens. Flood mode reaches up to 1,700 lumens and 100 meters, while the spotlight can stretch to 205 meters. UV output reaches up to 1,200 mW, and the laser can run continuously or momentarily.
In practical terms, that gives you a wide work light for the garage or a blackout, a focused beam for the yard or roadside, UV for inspection tasks, and a laser for pointing. The flat body measures 124 x 27 x 16 mm and weighs 120 grams, so it fits into the kind of bag pocket already occupied by a power bank or charging cable.
USB-C keeps it easy to live with
Olight supports both USB-C and its MCC magnetic charging system. That is a welcome bit of flexibility if your travel kit already revolves around USB-C. A dual-direction clip handles carry, and ArkBeat adds a small pulsing indicator that changes color as the light accumulates usage time.
The result is a pocket gadget with a clearly defined job list. It also happens to be much easier to find at the bottom of a dark bag when the body is bright orange. For anyone building a car kit or travel pouch, that visibility can be useful when the power is out and you are searching by touch and whatever ambient light is left.
The beam-quality specification is worth a mention, too. Olight lists Duv below 0.006 across brightness levels, which is intended to keep the white light clean rather than introducing an obvious green or pink cast. That kind of detail matters more during longer work sessions than it does in a quick phone-flashlight emergency.
