Dr. Earl Davis, Jr. Stands with Denzel Washington to Champion a New Era for Boys & Girls Clubs of America

Marco Island, Florida — In a moving call to action, Dr. Earl Davis, Jr., 2002 Winter Olympic Torchbearer, respected advisor, investor, philanthropist, and financial intercessor, proudly announces his unwavering support for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, by standing on the shoulders of giants with legendary actor Denzel Washington who is the long-standing national spokesperson for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, (BGCA), a role he has held for over three decades, stemming from his own positive experiences as a youth member of the Mount Vernon, NY club and crediting them for helping him find a positive path and success. A Boys and Girls Club donation request letter by autopen from Denzel Washington has sparked a flame of hope and empowerment for America’s youth, Dr. Earl Davis, Jr. hopes in 2026 this flame can turn into a roaring fire that transcends far beyond our lifetime.

“Today I received a deeply inspiring letter from Denzel Washington—one that reignited my determination to change lives,” said Dr. Davis. “Denzel’s story echoes what so many Club alumni know: inside every Club, dreams are born, character is forged, and futures are rewritten. Mr. Washington credits the Boys & Girls Clubs and the mentorship of Billy Thomas for showing him that his destiny was bigger than what his eyes could see. His words are a rallying cry for every one of us to ensure that every child has the chance to dream beyond their circumstances.”

Dr. Davis, whose own life’s work has been dedicated to creating winners and turning winners in to champions by attempting to close the wealth and inequality gap, emphasized, “Every child deserves more than shelter—they deserve champions, men and women who serve as lighthouses (lights to the world) that point the way through the dark moments that we all face. The Boys & Girls Clubs of America create environments where hope flourishes, ambition is celebrated, and possibilities are limitless. These Clubs are not just safe havens; they are launchpads for leadership, achievement, and lifelong purpose.”

Through his organization, Create Winners International Foundation for Change, Dr. Davis has tirelessly worked to empower the next generation, holding programs that equip individuals from all walks of life and backgrounds (including youth) with tools for  closing their personal wealth and income inequality gap, and world-changing impact. “Youth empowerment is not optional—it is essential,” he declared. “No organization shines brighter in this mission than the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.”

With heartfelt conviction, Dr. Davis joins Denzel Washington in urging communities, leaders, and everyday citizens to take action. “Let’s begin 2026 with intention. Give to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America—whether by mail, QR code, online, or simply through prayer. Give with purpose. Give with faith in the future we all share,” he implored.

Quoting from his favorite book, Dr. Davis added, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over… For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”

He concluded with a rallying invitation: “Let us sow generously, uplift boldly, and meet together in the Winners Circle.”
