XRP holders watched the price slide to about $1.18 this week, even as its network kept pulling in serious money. On November 6, U.Today reported that the XRP Ledger leads every chain in 2026 for tokenized commodities, with about $2.2 billion of net inflows. So the xrp news comes down to one question: when does growth on the ledger reach the XRP price?

Below those headlines, a smaller flow of money is going into Pepeto, a presale meme coin developing a swap exchange, a token bridge and a contract scanner. More than $11.3 million has come in, big investors among the buyers, for a token at its first price.

XRP News: Ledger Leads Commodities as XRP Drops to $1.16

XRP trades near $1.16 on November 7, down about 4% in a day after a selloff in US tech stocks spread into crypto. The drop broke the $1.20 support zone, so the next support sits at $1.10 to $1.15, about 3% to 7% below, while resistance at $1.25 is about 6% above.

Behind the ledger’s lead sits Justoken’s JMWH fund, worth about $2.23 billion, while Avalanche trails at $335.2 million, a sign that large issuers are choosing XRP’s network for real assets.

However, that lead does not lift the coin on its own, because one fund carries about 89% of the inflows. XRP’s market value fell by about $7.8 billion in a day, so winning it back takes roughly 10% of new buying, the same 10% whether a holder owns $1,000 or $1 million of XRP.

What this means is that the xrp news shows big money choosing the ledger while the coin waits for buyers. Pepeto’s big investors hold the token their platform runs on, bought at a stage price fixed before any exchange sets one.

Why Big Investors Back Pepeto Before Its Binance Debut

Big investors back Pepeto because its stage price does not move with the market. XRP’s value can swing by billions in a day, while a presale stage sells at one fixed price that rises only when the stage ends, on its timer or its target.

Those buyers are funding tools already in private testing with community members and big investors. PepetoSwap, the exchange, sets its swap fee at 0.00%. A $1,000 swap costs $3 on Uniswap and $2.50 on PancakeSwap, while on PepetoSwap the trader covers network gas only. Someone who swaps $5,150 every Friday keeps about $803 a year that Uniswap would take.

Supply adds pressure from the other side, since Pepeto’s supply stays at 420 trillion tokens across every chain. Stakers earn 160% APY, a rate that changes each day with the amount staked. The swap, the $0 bridge across five chains and the AI scanner all run on that one token.

At $0.0000001906, a $4,700 order buys about 24.8 billion tokens, and every later stage hands out fewer tokens for the same money. Each trader who comes back for a $0 fee uses the token the platform runs on, and that token’s supply never grows.

Conclusion

On August 5, 2024, XRP fell about 15% to near $0.4459 in a global selloff, and by July 2025 it reached $3.65. A $1,000 order placed that day became about $8,200, so the size of each order decided what those buyers kept.

This week’s xrp news asks how long the coin needs to win back $7.8 billion. For a buyer starting today, Pepeto offers a token before any exchange sets its price, with over $11.3 million committed.

The XRP price of August 2024 lasted only as long as the selloff did. Pepeto’s current stage works the same way, selling at today’s price until its timer ends or its target fills. The wallets buying now hold prices that no later stage will offer before the approaching Binance listing.
