After a decade of vanished treasuries, abandoned roadmaps, and developer rug pulls, BlocUnited will demonstrate Mozaiks — an open-source AI app factory that lets decentralized communities build their own software instead of trusting strangers with the money. QUAKERTOWN, Pa., February, 2025 — Blockchain solved fundraising. It never solved the part that comes after.
Communities can pool millions in minutes, vote with mathematical precision, and lock every decision on-chain — and then hand the entire treasury to an outside development team and hope. Too often, hope is the whole plan. Roadmaps stall. Deliverables slip from quarters to “soon.” And in the worst cases, the developers simply disappear with the money, leaving behind a dead Discord and a token chart shaped like a cliff.
This is the execution gap: the gaping hole between what decentralized communities decide and what actually gets built. It has burned treasuries, buried projects, and taught an entire generation of builders and believers to expect betrayal.
At ETHDenver 2025, BlocUnited, LLC will demonstrate its answer. On March 1, during “Agent Singularity: Talks & Hackathon with Founders from a16z, CSX, MIT, AG2,” AG2 founder and Google researcher Chi Wang will show Mozaiks — an open-source AI app factory — turning an idea into a functional, deployable application live, using AG2-powered teams of autonomous AI agents.
The pitch is simple enough to fit on a hat: put the AI in DAO.
“DAOs gave communities a way to organize capital and make decisions, but they never solved execution,” said Michael J. Barilla, founder and CEO of BlocUnited. “A proposal can pass, funding can be approved, and the community can still be left waiting — sometimes forever — for someone to build it. Mozaiks closes that gap. Approved decisions become intelligent, working software, and nobody has to wire their treasury to a stranger to make it happen.”
The Rug Pull Ends Where the Middleman Ends
Every rug pull in Web3 history shares one ingredient: a community forced to trust an intermediary with its money before any meaningful work exists. Mozaiks removes that ingredient.
With Mozaiks, a community submits an application idea, proposes features, defines commercial objectives, and votes. Once a proposal passes, Mozaiks coordinates specialized AI agents to:
- Translate the proposal into technical requirements
- Design the screens, data models, services, and workflows
- Generate the frontend and backend
- Create AG2 agents native to the application itself
- Perform staged validation with human-reviewed quality checks
- Configure authentication, billing, hosting, and infrastructure
- Deploy the completed application

Instead of committing an entire development budget upfront — the exact structure that makes rug pulls possible — communities tie funding to transparent development stages and verifiable deliverables. Work happens, proof appears, funds move. In that order.
Mozaiks does not remove people from decentralized organizations. It removes the blind trust. Humans still govern, review, and approve. What changes is that execution finally becomes as accountable as the vote that authorized it.

Mozaiks extends beyond generation. Applications ship with payments, subscriptions, usage credits, pricing, and revenue tools built into their architecture from day one.
Communities and founders can launch growth campaigns, define measurable commercial milestones, invite strategic partners and creators, and distribute revenue according to transparent participation rules. An optional blockchain layer can record approved proposals, completed milestones, contributor rights, and revenue agreements — with smart contracts releasing funds or distributing proceeds only when predetermined conditions are actually met.
The result is a path for projects to become programmable digital businesses instead of speculative tokens orbiting a product that doesn’t exist.
And because communities are no longer paying outside development shops to maybe deliver, treasuries can flow toward what actually grows a business: customers, marketing, distribution.
