One Power Bank

Picture a departure lounge with one free wall socket and a laptop sitting at 9%. The Titan280 is made for that afternoon.

Plenty of power banks can top up a phone. A few can handle a tablet. Very few can feed a laptop properly, and that’s where the Titan280 stands apart. It has two USB-C ports that each put out 140W, 280W in total, and both hold that level when they’re in use together. A laptop on one and a tablet on the other won’t fight over the supply. Power Delivery support means it speaks the language those machines expect.

Next to the two USB-C ports there’s a USB-A, so three devices can run from one battery. It can fit a lot of things in your bag, like your laptop, phone, or earbuds case. Works with MacBooks, Dell XPS and ThinkPads, most phones, iPads, Switches, GoPros and DJI cameras. Basically any device which can charge using USB-C.

A screen on the top shows battery percentage, voltage and current. It sounds like a minor detail until you’re trying to work out whether there’s enough left to get through a long meeting or a delayed connection. A real number beats a guess.

A well-travelled person’s bag usually holds a laptop charger, a phone charger and possibly a small power bank. The Titan280 can take over most of that. One battery in the bag instead of three separate pieces, and one cable ready for the laptop when the wall socket is nowhere to be found.

Made with flying in mind

The battery is large at 27,000mAh (99.9Wh), and that can cause trouble when you travel. Most airlines cap carry-on power banks at 100Wh, and 99.9Wh sits just under that. Rules do vary by airline and airport, but a power bank this size should generally be fine to bring with you. Check with your airline or airport before you fly to be sure.

For anyone who works from trains, cafés, co-working desks and hotel rooms, that changes the day. A long stretch of work doesn’t have to end where the socket ends, and a delayed flight stops being a countdown on your battery icon.

Protection comes from the G-Guard system, which covers temperature, short circuits, overvoltage and undervoltage and the battery cell itself, with a smart chip supervising charging. In the box you get a USB-C to USB-C cable and a manual, so it’s usable straight away.

If the Titan280 sounds like the right fit for your bag, you’ll find it on the Gidues website and in the brand’s Amazon storefront. The full range is worth a look too.
