Tips for Making Videos for Online Church Service

The Online Church Service started back when CoronaVirus was at its peak. Since the Corona cases are dropping down and surging, again and again, the Online Church service is still going on. In fact, the Churches that did not start online services back then are starting them now.

Many regular Church visitors have come forward to help with making videos. Just so they can earn rewards and more and more Christians attend the weekly prayer meeting. If you want to earn a reward this way, here are a few tips that would help you in making the best Church videos;

  • Know what you can do to make the visual and audio quality better
  • Have good cameras, lights, and sound system
  • Place the camera in the right position
  • Begin shooting when everyone is well-prepared and ready
  • Always check the audio levels

Know what you can do to make the visual and audio quality better

Before showing up with all the equipment and filming the Church video, I would suggest you go visit the Church once.  You still need to go even if it’s the Church you have been visiting every week all your life. It is recommended because you have been to Church before to attend the prayer meeting, not for this purpose. This time you have to visit differently and try judging what you can do to make the audio-visual quality of the video better.

Have good cameras, lights, and sound system

If the quality of the Church video is not good, your effort and the video will be of no use. The cameras, lights, and sound system all improve the quality of the video. Therefore, arrange a good camera(or film it with an iPhone), some lights, and a sound system and show up at the suggested time well equipped.

Place the camera in the right position

The distance and the angle of the camera would impact the visual quality a lot. Therefore, you have to be very careful about the distance and angle. As per the experts, the camera should be placed in the center at a 45° angle and focused on the praise leader. While focusing on the praise leader, make sure the viewer gets to see the team leaders as well.

Begin shooting when everyone is well-prepared and ready

Have a meeting with the praise leader and the team a few hours before the shooting. In this meeting, you have to discuss the video requirements and ask for the praise leader and team’s requirements and suggestions. Since this is a new thing for the Church members, give them some time to prepare. Begin shooting only when everyone is well-prepared and ready.

Always check the audio levels

It’s a common misconception that the video that is shot in one go has the same audio level. Therefore, most of us focus on visual quality and forget to check the audio levels. You can not afford to leave the audio levels unchecked when it comes to Church video. So, before handing it over to upload, double-check the audio levels.
