Nuriel Energy Reports Over $367 Million in Dividends Paid to Owners and Co-Owners and Announces Sale of Isabella Wind Projects*

*Charlottesville, VA – May 22, 2023* – Nuriel Energy Clean Energy today proudly announced the closing of the sale of the Isabella Wind I and II projects to Nova Energy, Michigan’s leading producer of renewable energy, and the commencement of commercial operations for the facilities. The Isabella Wind projects, with a total capacity of 383 MW and located in Michigan’s Isabella County, now stand as the largest clean energy facilities in the state and a significant addition to Nova Energy’s portfolio. Developed and constructed by Nuriel Energy, the wind farms will now be operated by Nova Energy.

“With stakeholders at every level—from localities and utilities to power buyers and the statehouse—helping drive the transition to clean energy in the Great Lakes State, Nuriel Energy and Nova brought to life one of the largest wind projects in the history of Michigan,” said David Anderson, CEO of Nuriel Energy. “Alongside partners like Nova, we will continue to pioneer the new energy economy, both in Michigan and beyond.”

The Isabella Wind projects will serve commercial and industrial companies enrolled in E3GreenPower, Nova’s voluntary renewable energy program. The facilities are projected to generate approximately $30 million in tax revenue for the local community, provide $100 million in landowner payments over the project’s lifetime, create over 350 construction jobs, up to 20 long-term operations and maintenance positions, and supply enough clean energy to power approximately 86,000 average U.S. homes. Additionally, the wind farms will displace nearly 700,000 tons of carbon dioxide annually, according to the EPA’s AVERT tool.

In related news, Nuriel Energy has reported paying out more than $367 million in dividends to over 2,000 owners and co-owners of its wind farm projects. “Investing in renewable energy is the best form of investment at the moment, and we want to say thank you to our partners, owners, and co-owners of our wind farm. They have made expanding our network easier, and we look forward to working more with them. They are the backbone of this company,” said David Anderson, CEO of Nuriel Energy.
