Los Angeles Limousine

Los Angeles Limousine

My husband and I went on vacation to Hollywood for our 12th wedding anniversary and we got to stay at the Roosevelt Hotel right in the center of all of the action. We live in Idaho, so we had no idea what to expect. To be honest, it was a little intimidating.

The hotel was nice although a little loud in our room as we were right about the outdoor bar and they were partying down there until very early in the morning. I, however, do not want to talk about the hotel. I want to talk about my experience with the Los Angeles limo service we used during our trip.

We had originally booked with another company, but they couldn’t find us at LAX, so we took a taxi to the hotel. We really wanted to have a limo and do a tour of Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Santa Monica.

That is when we found Hollywood Town Car and Limousine. We found them on Google, called and spoke with Johnny on the phone and he was terrific. He explained the company, what they do and what we could expect from the limo and the driver. We booked a stretch limo for 5 hours and had the driver pick us up at 3:00 on the Saturday that we were there.

The driver was named Josh and he showed up 15 minutes early which we liked. He was dressed professionally in a black suit, and both called and texted me to let us know he was at the hotel. We came right down and jumped in the car. We really felt like we were super VIP special people. It was so cool. The limo had a tv, sound system, cool lighting and a bar with ice, real glasses, sodas, and stuff. The whole thing was impressive, and Josh was super helpful and informative. He took us on a tour of LA and showed us a bunch of places that were famous but also some that were off the beaten track.

Our first stop was Beverly Hills as I really wanted to see Rodeo Drive and do some shopping. My husband was worried because I don’t think you can find anything there to buy that is under several thousand dollars. It was more about the window shopping for me, so he didn’t need to worry. I did see a purse I wanted to buy but it was $6,000 so I obviously passed. Maybe someday I can afford things like that. It was fun and very different than anything we have in Boise as you can imagine. We also went the Beverly Wilshire Hotel as I was a big fan of the movie Pretty Woman and that is where the filmed it.

Next, Josh took us to see culver City where Sony Studios is. There was not a lot to see as there are big walls around the studio but we had fun and stopped at a fun bar called Bar Bohemian for a couple of cocktails. That place was amazing. We jumped back in the limo feeling much more relaxed and Josh suggested we drive to Venice. Not only did we see muscle beach and all the crazy people but we got to drive through the Venice Canals and see why it’s called Venice. We had no idea there were canals and Josh explained that most people the live in LA don’t even know about that.

Our last stop was a restaurant called Craig’s in West Hollywood. We were hoping to see some stars there but it seems we got there too early and no stars had arrived yet. We said goodbye to Josh and the limo and took an Uber home from the restaurant. All in all, it was a great day in the limo, and we were so happy with the service that we booked an SUV with Hollywood Town Car for the following night to take us to dinner.

I strongly recommend Hollywood Town Ca and Limousine if you are going to Los Angeles and want to have a great time.
