The user contribution-based model redefines passive holders as business partners who perform project marketing activities.

PUNKVISM, which is developing a Web3-based virtual nation protocol, has unveiled a new governance model designed to move beyond the conventional NFT ecosystem, which has often remained limited to simple reward-based utility. The new model integrates holders as practical business and marketing partners within the ecosystem.
Through an official announcement, the PUNKVISM team declared the launch of the “Co-Founder Citizen System,” which redefines its citizens not as passive reward recipients, but as active participants who share responsibility for business expansion and marketing execution. The core of this restructuring goes beyond adding short-term benefits. It presents a clear infrastructure model showing how different citizenship NFTs within the ecosystem are organically connected to global business activation and contribution structures across their respective tracks.
A major driver of this new flywheel is the absorption of external mega-IP fandoms and the creation of a positive feedback loop. PUNKVISM is preparing a lineup of limited editions based on powerful global fandoms, including global sports star IPs and a legendary Japanese manga IP that will be revealed in the future. Rather than following the traditional Web2 model of spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on external marketing agencies, PUNKVISM has chosen to directly engage citizenship holders as co-marketers.
Voluntary promotional content and distribution activities created by citizens will serve as gateways that bring large-scale global fandoms directly into the virtual nation ecosystem. The results generated from this expanded business structure are then returned to the citizens who helped open those gateways in the form of marketing incentives. Ultimately, PUNKVISM aims to use this structure to grow into a major global community of 500,000 to 1 million participants.
To bring this model to life, each citizenship NFT has been designed to connect with a specialized business pipeline and perform a clearly defined marketing role. GOAT PUNK, which is specialized in entertainment and real estate RWA, will focus on artist collaborations and offline space businesses, receiving priority allocation of 80% of the total promotional service reward pool for related projects. Punky HA-G, which covers gaming and digital content, will be linked to the upcoming Tori & Oculla project and will carry out practical missions through which 50% of business performance, after excluding production costs and the cost of burning 15% of PVT, will be allocated to the activity contribution pool. Alya will focus on the Indonesian market, healthcare, and medical RWA tracks, leading the global expansion of hospital and beauty-related businesses.
The main core track, consisting of Genesis and PunkyKongz, will serve as the marketing backbone for global IP limited editions and most RWA ambassador businesses. As the first step, CYPERPUNK TEDDY BEAR and Anushka Sen’s film IP have been selected for this track. Meanwhile, for the Namsan RWA Ambassador and BIBI projects, where early-stage business activity conditions have been adjusted to a minimum level, separate PVT contribution pools of 55 million PVT and 35 million PVT will be established, respectively, based on Genesis and PunkyKongz one-slot holders. These pools will provide activity rewards over 48 months through a vesting structure as a safeguard.
The quantitative standard for all of these business activities will be measured and tested through a unit called a “participation slot.” A slot represents a practical right within the Co-Founder pool, allowing citizens to carry out promotional service missions and receive allocated contribution rewards. Currently, one Genesis NFT and five PunkyKongz NFTs are each calculated as one slot, with differentiated mission rights granted according to the number of NFTs held. For example, a citizen holding 15 PunkyKongz NFTs would receive three slots, gaining higher marketing responsibilities and a higher reward allocation limit. Dedicated mission tracks for holders of one to four PunkyKongz NFTs will also be gradually supplemented and applied in the future.
To support transparency in the system, the PUNKVISM team disclosed specific cost structures and marketing service reward simulation figures for its initial pipeline.
For the CYPERPUNK TEDDY BEAR limited edition, which is projected to generate total revenue of KRW 400 million (appr. USD 264,000), PUNKVISM’s performance compensation would amount to KRW 100 million (appr. USD 66,000) after excluding KRW 300 million (appr. USD 198,000) in costs, including product manufacturing and IP sourcing expenses. Of this amount, 50%, or KRW 50 million (appr. USD 33,000), will be directed to the marketing activity contribution pool for Co-Founder Citizens. Based on the current total of 850 slots, each slot would carry an estimated activity reward value of approximately KRW 58,800. Accordingly, a structure is formed in which holding one Genesis NFT would correspond to approximately KRW 58,800, holding 15 PunkyKongz NFTs would correspond to approximately KRW 176,400, and holding 75 PunkyKongz NFTs would correspond to approximately KRW 882,000 in marketing service participation value.
The Anushka Sen Korea-India co-production film IP project, which is projected to generate total revenue of KRW 500 million (appr. USD 330,000), will apply the same mechanism and form a contribution pool of approximately KRW 58,800 per slot. As a result, if a citizen holding 15 PunkyKongz NFTs and three slot rights successfully completes the promotional missions for both projects, the citizen would establish eligibility for incentives worth approximately KRW 352,800.
PUNKVISM emphasized that this mechanism is not intended as a one-time event, but as a structure aimed at creating a sustainable economic cycle through the continued accumulation of business pipelines. The company presented simulation data showing that, if the business stabilizes and a track of five sold-out projects per month is established, a cumulative marketing participation structure could be formed at an annual scale of approximately KRW 10.58 million (appr. USD 7,000) for holders of 15 PunkyKongz NFTs and approximately KRW 52.92 million (appr. USD 34,900) for holders of 75 PunkyKongz NFTs.
However, these rewards will not be provided simply for holding NFTs passively in a wallet. Final eligibility for incentives will be determined only after citizens complete active project contributions in a Co-Founder-only channel that opens approximately six weeks before each product launch. These contributions may include IP concept coordination, merchandise design feedback, voluntary promotional content creation, and global influencer outreach, proving the value of their actual work.
Hyunki Hwang, CEO of PUNKVISM, outlined a specific roadmap, stating, “Within this week, we plan to distribute the guide for the citizenship verification process and sequentially activate Co-Founder-only channels for the CYPERPUNK TEDDY BEAR and Anushka Sen projects. The Jjukkumiso RWA Ambassador, the first outcome led by Inseop Hwang, will also begin full-scale operations.” He added, “Users are no longer passive NFT collectors. They are proud co-founders and marketing participants who help build the foundation of a virtual nation. The value created directly through the strength of the community will return to them as compensation for their activities.”
Finally, a PUNKVISM representative clarified, “This program is not an investment product or a security-type asset, and it does not guarantee company equity, fixed dividends, or any specific investment returns.” The representative further explained, “All citizen participation rewards within the ecosystem will be flexibly and differentially determined based on the actual market performance of each individual project, operating policies, and, most importantly, the level of practical marketing contribution and work results directly performed by each citizen.”
