DOGE holders have watched the price slip this week while the firms around the coin change partners. On November 5, 21Shares ended its support deal with House of Doge. This group ran research and marketing for the TDOG fund, a November 6 filing shows. That fund holds just $2.8 million of DOGE. Therefore, the open dogecoin news today is who brings the next large buyer to an $11 billion coin.

Below those headlines, Pepeto is drawing big investors into a presale meme coin building an exchange with no trading fee. The fund news raised two questions, who backs a coin and what trading costs, and Pepeto answers both.

Dogecoin News Today: DOGE Closes at $0.0711, Its Lowest Since August

DOGE trades near $0.0718 on November 8, a day after closing at $0.0711, its lowest daily close since August. The 2026 low of $0.069 sits about 4% below. Meanwhile, the 50 day and 200 day averages both sit near $0.085, about 18% above.

Still, the filing left TDOG’s custodians and its 0.50% yearly fee unchanged, so DOGE barely moved once the news came out. DOGE also rose 45% from its August low to September 23 while those same averages pointed down.

However, DOGE’s size decides how far a recovery can go. At about $11.3 billion, the coin needs roughly $2 billion more in purchases to climb 18% back to its averages. A buyer with $500 earns the same 18% as a buyer with $5 million.

What this means is that dogecoin news today offers holders a slow 18%. However, the funds that hold DOGE for them charge 0.50% to 2.50% a year. Pepeto takes that cost out: it is a meme coin at the stage where DOGE’s first buyers made their gains. This coin is building an exchange that charges no swap fee.

Pepeto Raised $11.3 million Building the Exchange Meme Coins Lacked

Pepeto has raised more than $11.3 million to put an exchange behind a meme coin name, something most meme coins never had. That exchange, a cross chain bridge and an AI security scanner are in development. Community members and big investors, the early believers the team built Pepeto for, test them privately.

The exchange is the tool a DOGE trader feels on every trade. A $1,000 swap costs $3 in fees on Uniswap and $2.50 on PancakeSwap. Meanwhile, PepetoSwap charges 0.00% and leaves only network gas. A trader who swaps $2,750 every Thursday for a year keeps about $429 that Uniswap would have taken.

Beside it, the bridge moves coins across five chains for $0 in fees, and the scanner stops a purchase of any token holders cannot sell. The man who cofounded the original Pepe runs the project, and SolidProof has audited the code.

Today’s stage sells at $0.0000001906, and stakers earn 160% APY on locked tokens with rewards claimable at listing. The price rises at every new stage. DOGE needs roughly 180 times Pepeto’s whole raise just to reach its averages. So a buyer’s $1,000 is a far larger share of Pepeto’s base than of DOGE’s.

Conclusion

21Shares stepping back changes little for DOGE’s long run, though a small fund cannot lift it quickly. DOGE closed 2019 near $0.002 with no exchange or app of its own. By May 2021 it touched about $0.73, turning a $1,000 buy into roughly $360,000.

For anyone following dogecoin news today, DOGE offers about 18% back to its averages. DOGE got that far on its crowd alone. Pepeto starts with a meme coin crowd at a presale stage, plus three tools in development that give buyers reasons to use the token.

The presale price ends at the expected Binance listing, and every stage before it is priced above the last.
