Outpoll Brings Crypto Futures Trading and Prediction Markets Into One Account
Outpoll has added perpetual futures trading to its prediction market platform, allowing eligible users to manage contracts linked to asset prices and real-world outcomes through one account and shared balance.
Announced on 15 October 2026, Outpoll Trading expands the platform into perpetual futures across cryptocurrencies, stocks and indices, and commodities. The service combines event trading, charting, derivatives tools and API access through Outpoll’s website and Android app.
The two products serve different purposes. Prediction markets allow users to take a position on whether a defined event will occur, while perpetual futures provide exposure to movements in the price of an underlying asset or benchmark. Outpoll now brings both activities into the same account.
How prediction markets and futures fit together
Outpoll’s prediction markets cover subjects including politics, economics, cryptocurrencies, sport and culture. Participants trade Yes and No contracts linked to specified outcomes, with markets governed by published resolution criteria and identified sources.
Outpoll’s official documentation explains how its prediction-market system operates, including event-linked contracts, stablecoin deposits and settlement.
Perpetual futures introduce a different form of exposure. Traders take long or short positions in price-linked contracts and manage those positions as market prices change.
The combination means users can express both an event-based view and a price-based view without moving between separate platforms. For example, a participant could follow an event concerning monetary policy while separately taking a position in a related asset.
Outpoll says the shared account and balance are central to that experience.
“Our aim is to bring event forecasting and asset-price trading into one connected experience. With a shared account and balance, users can manage both types of position through Outpoll and access the tools they need through our website and app,” says Greg from Outpoll.
Existing users can access the Trading section through their current accounts. Outpoll also supports deposits in multiple cryptocurrencies and provides an in-app conversion facility, while its prediction-market documentation identifies USDC as the settlement asset for event contracts.
More than 100 futures trading pairs
Crypto futures make up the largest part of the launch catalogue. Outpoll lists:
| Asset group | Announced coverage | Examples |
| Cryptocurrencies | 80+ trading pairs | BTC, XMR, PUMPFUN |
| Stocks and indices | 20+ trading pairs | AAPL, MSFT, SPX500 |
| Commodities | 4 trading pairs | Including oil-related markets |
The stock symbols and indices act as reference assets for perpetual derivative contracts rather than representing ownership of the underlying securities.
Every futures contract announced by Outpoll is perpetual, meaning it has no scheduled expiry date. Traders can therefore maintain exposure without having to move from an expiring contract into another solely because a maturity date has been reached.
The platform supports both long and short positions. A long position benefits from an increase in the contract price, while a short position benefits from a decline, before trading costs and other applicable charges are taken into account.
Outpoll also advertises leverage of up to 100x, subject to the platform’s contract terms and settings. Because leverage increases exposure relative to the margin committed, it can magnify both gains and losses.
Margin, position modes and risk controls
The futures service supports isolated and cross margin.
Isolated margin assigns a specified amount of collateral to an individual position. Cross margin can use eligible collateral across positions covered by the arrangement, according to the platform’s rules.
Outpoll also lists one-way and Hedge modes. One-way mode maintains a net directional position in an instrument, while Hedge mode allows separate long and short positions in the same asset at the same time.
A liquidation-price calculator is available before an order is placed, allowing traders to review the estimated liquidation level associated with their selected position and margin settings.
Together, these controls allow users to determine how collateral and directional exposure are organised before entering a trade.
Market, limit and stop-market orders
Outpoll Trading includes market, limit and stop-market orders.
A market order seeks execution against available liquidity, while a limit order specifies the price boundary at which the trader is prepared to buy or sell. A stop-market order becomes a market instruction once its specified trigger is reached.
The platform also includes take-profit and stop-loss controls, allowing users to set conditions intended to close or reduce positions at specified levels.
Reduce-only orders provide another safeguard by allowing an order to reduce an existing position without increasing exposure or opening a new position in the opposite direction.
TradingView charts and integrated order information
Outpoll’s futures interface places market analysis and trading controls within the same screen.
Its BTCUSDT interface includes a TradingView candlestick chart, order book, trading panel and sections for monitoring open positions and orders.
This allows users to analyse historical price movements, review available buying and selling interest and prepare orders without moving between separate interfaces.
Contract details, quote currency and margin controls are displayed alongside these features.
Public API access for developers
Outpoll Trading also includes a public API intended for algorithmic strategies and other programmatic workflows.
“We have brought charting, order controls and API access together to support different ways of working with markets. Traders can use the platform’s interface to analyse prices and manage positions, while developers can build their own workflows through the public API,” says Greg.
Outpoll’s broader technical documentation describes REST and WebSocket access, together with resources covering price monitoring, take-profit and stop-loss automation and Python examples.
REST allows applications to make individual requests and receive responses, while WebSocket connections can provide ongoing streams of market updates. The operations available depend on Outpoll’s documented API endpoints.
The API gives developers and algorithmic traders another way to interact with the platform alongside the website and Android application.
Prediction-market creators remain part of the platform
The futures expansion sits alongside Outpoll’s existing creator-market model.
Outpoll says prediction markets can be created by its team and by approved creators, giving communities the ability to engage with questions relating to the subjects those creators cover.
Each prediction market establishes a defined question and resolution criteria. Outpoll’s documentation says resolution draws on identified authoritative sources, with established news organisations used where official sources are unavailable.
The addition of futures therefore expands the platform without replacing its event-market foundation.
Web and Android access
Outpoll Trading is available through the company’s website and its Android app on Google Play. Existing account holders can access prediction markets and perpetual futures using the same Outpoll account and shared balance.
Availability is governed by the platform’s Terms of Service; users must be 18+.
At the product level, the expansion brings event contracts, perpetual futures, charting, order controls, margin options and developer access together within one service.
One account for two types of market view
Outpoll’s expansion changes the scope of the platform from primarily event-based prediction markets to a service that also supports price-linked derivatives.
The distinction remains important: a prediction market asks what will happen under defined conditions, while a perpetual futures position expresses a view on how a market price will move.
By bringing both into the same account, Outpoll is giving users a single environment for managing those two different types of market position.
