The three technologies doing the actual work — remote diagnostic imaging, simulation-based treatment approval, and on-site rapid fabrication — solve a problem common to any healthcare service that traditionally required physical presence for diagnosis and a long fabrication or manufacturing cycle before delivery. As imaging resolution and on-site manufacturing capability continue to improve, expect the same architecture to compress timelines in adjacent precision-manufactured healthcare fields, from custom orthopaedic devices to advanced prosthetics.
