PUNKVISM, a community-driven Web3 project, is drawing attention in the market as its holders have voluntarily raised funds to launch a bus advertising campaign. The initiative highlights the strong cohesion and participation of the project’s community.
In the crypto industry, community cohesion is often considered as important as technology or tokenomics. Dogecoin, for example, gained global attention not through traditional large-scale marketing, but through community-led growth and viral participation. Some market participants have described PUNKVISM’s recent movement as showing community-driven momentum reminiscent of Dogecoin’s early growth phase.
PUNKVISM is a Web3 ecosystem project led by Hyunki Hwang, who is known as a co-founder of the Korean NFT project Meta Kongz. The project has since expanded its community through its extended universe project, PunkyKongz, while building a structure that connects NFTs with a token-based economy.
PUNKVISM emphasizes an ecosystem structure that goes beyond a conventional digital asset project by connecting with real-world asset (RWA) business models. Its strategy is to link various real-world business activities generated through the project with its token economy, creating a circular ecosystem.
PUNKVISM has also presented a deflationary tokenomics structure in which a certain portion of funds generated through project operations may be used for token buybacks and burns. According to the project, this structure is designed to help manage token circulation and support the long-term sustainability of the ecosystem.
Industry observers believe that PUNKVISM’s future growth will depend on the sustainability of its community and the extent to which it can expand its real-world business activities.
The recent holder-funded bus advertising campaign is being viewed as an unusual example of grassroots participation in the Web3 market. Such a movement is difficult to achieve without both trust in the project and active community engagement.
“In Web3 projects, the strongest form of marketing is ultimately the community,” a crypto industry expert said. “It is rare to see holders voluntarily raise funds and take the initiative to promote a project themselves.”
Market attention is now turning to whether PUNKVISM can translate its strong community cohesion into broader ecosystem growth, building on the community-driven momentum that some have compared to Dogecoin’s early rise.
