Global Web3 company PUNKVISM announced that it has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with ChainArt, a blockchain-based NFT ticketing platform, to collaborate on the development of NFT ticketing services.

Through the partnership, the two companies plan to jointly advance NFT-based ticket sales and the development of a Web3 live entertainment ecosystem for concerts and events in Korea and overseas. By using blockchain technology to record the issuance, distribution, and verification of tickets, the initiative aims to prevent forgery, improve transparency in ticket transactions, and introduce a new ticket distribution model for the global live entertainment market.

PUNKVISM is a global blockchain project that has built community-driven ecosystems around NFTs and Web3. Led by flagship NFT projects such as PunkyKongz, the company has expanded its global community while developing a wide range of digital asset initiatives. PUNKVISM founder and CEO Hyunki Hwang has also gained international recognition through Forbes’ “40 Under 40 Tech Leaders” content, which highlighted emerging technology leaders shaping the future of Web3.

ChainArt operates TicketBell, an NFT ticketing platform designed for concerts, exhibitions, and events. The platform issues tickets as NFTs and records ownership and transaction history on the blockchain, offering a next-generation ticketing solution that can address long-standing challenges in the traditional ticket market, including scalping, counterfeit tickets, and opaque distribution structures.

TicketBell has already expanded its use cases through various pilot projects. ChainArt has worked with hotel and metaverse companies on NFT-based accommodation ticket products in the tourism and leisure sector, while also implementing NFT ticketing for a Van Gogh exhibition in the culture and arts sector. These initiatives demonstrate the practical applicability of NFT ticketing across multiple industries.

“Web3 technology is an important infrastructure layer that can reshape the structure of the content industry,” said Hyunki Hwang, CEO of PUNKVISM. “NFT tickets have the potential to evolve beyond simple admission passes into a new cultural platform that connects fan experiences with digital assets.”

“Through our collaboration with ChainArt’s TicketBell platform, we aim to connect global Web3 communities with the live entertainment and content industries,” Hwang added. “We will continue expanding this partnership so that NFT tickets can become a new standard not only in Korea, but also across international concert and event markets.”

“It is no exaggeration to say that audiences and artists create more than 90% of every cultural performance,” said Lee Han-jun, CEO of ChainArt. “Platforms should take the lead in ensuring that these participants receive fair and balanced benefits.”

“Blockchain technology enables us to provide more transparent and secure transactions,” Lee continued. “NFT tickets are expected to play an important role in the future of the content industry.”

Industry observers view the partnership as a meaningful step toward integrating NFT ticketing and Web3 technology into the live entertainment and content industries. As PUNKVISM and ChainArt move forward, attention is expected to focus on how the two companies will shape a Web3-based ticketing ecosystem for global concerts and events.
