Available on web, Android and iOS, the new portal gives customers direct access to appointments, invoices, payments, memberships, loyalty rewards and business conversations.
CHENNAI, INDIA | SEPTEMBER 2026 — Cleomitra, an AI-powered CRM and client experience platform developed by Yakria Tech, today announced the launch of its Customer Portal, a dedicated customer-facing application that gives end customers direct access to appointments, invoices, payments, memberships, loyalty rewards and conversations with businesses.
Most business software is built for the people who run the business. Customers, meanwhile, may still need to phone the front desk to check an appointment, wait for an invoice to arrive over WhatsApp, or ask a staff member about their loyalty points. The Customer Portal is designed to give customers a direct, self-service view of their relationship with a business.
Cleomitra’s Customer Portal runs alongside, and separately from, the Cleomitra Staff application that businesses use to manage operations.
Two Applications, Two Audiences
Cleomitra now ships as two distinct applications built on a single connected platform.
The Staff application is the operator’s workspace. It is where a business manages its shared inbox across WhatsApp, Instagram, calls and email, along with contacts, leads, follow-ups, campaigns, appointments, billing, reports, roles and permissions, and multi-branch operations.
The Customer Portal is the customer’s own view of their relationship with that business. A customer signs in with their mobile number and a one-time password — no account creation and no password to remember — and sees only their own information, scoped to the business they are dealing with. Customers who deal with more than one business running on Cleomitra can select between them at sign-in, with each one presented in that business’s own branding.
The separation is deliberate. Staff need operational breadth; customers need clarity about their own appointments, money and history. Keeping the two applications distinct means each surface can be designed for the person actually using it, while both read from the same underlying records.
What Customers Can Do
The Customer Portal is designed to address common customer requests around appointments, billing, memberships, loyalty and communication, without requiring the customer or staff member to handle every request manually.
Appointments. Customers can view upcoming and past appointments and book new ones themselves, choosing a branch, a service and a time.
Invoices and payments. Customers can view and download their invoices as PDFs, and settle them through a secure payment link or from a prepaid wallet held with the business. The portal also supports wallet top-ups.
Memberships and recurring plans. Customers can see the membership tiers a business offers, subscribe to one, view what their current plan includes, and cancel a recurring plan themselves.
Loyalty and rewards. Points balances, visit history and reward coupons are visible to the customer directly, rather than being something they have to ask about at the counter.
Chat. Customers can start a conversation with the business from inside the portal. Those conversations reach the same Cleomitra inbox the business’s staff already work from, and can be answered by Mitra, Cleomitra’s AI assistant, or by a staff member.
Profile and service history. Customers can maintain their own contact details and review their full service history with the business.
Push notifications keep customers informed of appointment updates on mobile.
Available on Web, Android and iOS
The Customer Portal is available in three modes.
On the web, it runs as a browser application at portal.cleomitra.app, requiring no download — a link a business can send over WhatsApp, print on an invoice or place on its website.
On Android and iOS, it ships as a dedicated Cleomitra mobile application, published separately from the Cleomitra Staff application, so a customer installing it is never presented with an operator’s interface.
The portal can additionally be embedded directly into a business’s own website as a widget, styled to match that site, with the business choosing which capabilities — booking, invoices, chat or profile — to expose.
Why It Matters
“A customer relationship is not something that only the business should be able to see,” said Ram Balagurunathan, Founder & President, Yakria Tech. “When a customer has to call the front desk to ask when their appointment is, or wait for someone to resend an invoice, that is a gap in the system, not a service issue. The Customer Portal closes that gap. The business keeps its workspace, the customer gets theirs, and both are looking at the same truth.”
For service-led businesses — salons and spas, clinics, studios and similar operations where appointments, repeat visits and billing are closely connected — the portal is intended to help reduce routine inbound queries while giving customers a continuous record of their relationship with the business.
