Unleashing the Potential of NFTs: A Path to Prosperity for South African Students

South African students are increasingly worried about finding employment after university. With the current challenging global economic conditions, jobs are becoming scarce and graduate unemployment remains on the rise. As a result, students are growing concerned about their prospects for the future. One way in which we can help South African students is by providing opportunities that are not only paying well but also fall part of an innovative new sector.

The Non-Fungible Token (NFT) space has been gaining traction in recent times and offers immense potential for job seekers. By joining the NFT industry, South African students can gain access to lucrative careers in blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and other emerging fields. The University of Pretoria is hosting an NFT competition, organized & hosted by Libex. The competition is open to all students of the university and prizes will be given to the winners. Participants will be tasked with designing and creating an NFT (Non-Fungible Token), which is a digital asset that is secured by blockchain technology. The competition will involve judging the best NFT designs based on creativity, originality, and usability. The competition aims to foster creativity among students and provide an opportunity to learn more about NFTs and their potential. Prizes for the competition include multiple cash rewards for the best designs!

The main aim of this competition is to encourage students to explore the unique possibilities of Web 3 technology and harness its potential to develop creative Non-Fungible Token (NFT) designs. Through this competition, students will have the opportunity to hone their design and technical skills by creating innovative NFTs that could potentially become powerful tools in the world of Web 3.0.

The competition will be run from the 5th of March right until the 15th of April 2023 where our lucky winners will be able to view the offers on their NFTs.
