University of Chicago’s Teaching Assistant, Francisco Jose Faraco, Chartered Financial Analyst, Helps Students Pursue a Career in Finance

The widely experienced CFA Charterholder is now applying his experience and knowledge in teaching university students.

Chicago, Illinois – To Be Dated: Francisco Faraco is a professional and experienced CFA Charterholder who helps other students pursues their dream careers in finance. Currently, he is a Teaching Assistant at the University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. Morgan Francisco Faraco got associated with the University of Chicago’s Financial Mathematics program when he started working under the Industry Professional In-Residence (IPR) system. In this system, an education institution hires a person temporarily, starting Francisco Faraco’s journey with the University of Chicago.

It’s no secret that finance jobs are constantly evolving and changing. Moreover, finance is a famously high-paying industry, and people in finance can easily find well-paying jobs, combined with bonuses. Discussing his approach to guiding these students, Francisco Faraco commented, “From my degree in Business Administration to my experience with numerous banks and organizations, I learned that with the right skills and hard work, people could have a fantastic journey in finance.

I gained a lot of knowledge from my work experience, and my purpose in joining the University of Chicago as a Teaching Assistant is to guide other students, helping them grow academically and professionally. I use easily understood methods to help students learn the difficult concepts of Financial Mathematics.”

As a CFA Charterholder, Francisco Faraco has worked with multiple banks and financial organizations. He has plenty of on-field experience to share with students and help them grow as finance professionals. In the past, Francisco J. Faraco has worked as a Sales Trader for Eurobanco in Caracas and Merrill Lynch in Miami.

Moreover, he has also worked as a Portfolio Advisor with Banco Santander for several years. His latest experience was working as an Executive Director at JP Morgan under their Global Investment Opportunities (GIO) department.

About Francisco Faraco

Living in New York for the past 12 years, Francisco Faraco is a CFA Charterholder with a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas, Venezuela. When he moved to the US after his education, he worked with many international and national banks and organizations in finance.

Currently, he is associated with the University of Chicago as a Teaching Assistant for their Financial Mathematics program.
