Blockchain developers around the globe flood in as submissions open. The TRON Grand Hackathon 2022 has officially begun, and projects are coming in waves to win the bounty of $500k in total by TRON DAO and BitTorrent Chain (BTTC).
Submissions go from February 14 to March 7.
The Hackathon’s target is to allow developers to test and make an impression on the TRON blockchain and the BTTC to do many experiments traversing DeFi (Decentralized Finance), blockchain gaming, Web3, Digital Art/Collectibles, and everything in-between.
Both TRON DAO and BTTC are thrilled to introduce the Reddit-design TRON DAO Forum for members to take part in discussions about the crypto community in general, as well as the projects participating in the Hackathon.
Several projects have already joined the TRON DAO Forum, including an NFT play-to-earn GameFi project First Wave, DeFi project Exon Center, a Web3 cloud storage mobile app dCloud, and an NFT and DeFi combination VersacBrickSquad that aims to make real estate investment available for all.

With the increasing use of decentralized, peer-to-peer, and secure networks, blockchain is becoming the backbone of Web 3.0 – the decentralized web,” said H.E. Justin Sun, Founder of TRON.
Developers are uplifted to partake in this opportunity to design and implement DeFi, GameFi, NFT, and Web3 applications and to regale with the community on TRONDAO Forum.
The TRON Grand Hackathon 2022 and the TRONDAO Forum are all about possibilities, interactions, and empowering the TRON DAO community to have a say in the digital world.

Timeframe
This hackathon will be an ongoing funding event, commencing every three months, to promote the growth of the TRON and BTTC ecosystem. The first hackathon will begin on February 14, 2022.

Event requirements
- The winner’s prize will be paid out in milestones.
- 30% upon starting the project
- 30% upon achieving at least 50% of the milestone
- 40% upon completion of the project
- Winners of the Hackathon should continue to post progress and answer the community’s questions in their own forum thread to keep the community informed.
- The judges will have the final say on whether the expectation of each milestone has been made.
