TreeNity Space Forms a Strategic Partnership with MelegaSwap and Melega Space

TreeNity Space, a blockchain-based initiative with the goal of making the planet greener and healthier for coming generations, has teamed up with MelegaSwap, the world’s leading decentralized cryptocurrency exchange, and its subsidiary, Melega Space, which promotes blockchain projects and implements Token Asset Offerings.

The team responsible for the novel decentralized crypto project asserts that it is conscious of the fact that deforestation, wildfires, forest fires, and other dangerous activities associated with them are all major issues for the globe and its people.

According to reports, some 230,000 more hectares of forest cover are lost globally to fire each year. Also, due to deforestation, which emits up to 4.8 billion metric tons of CO2 annually, the globe loses around 10 million hectares of forest each year.

The quantity of area burned by fires in the European Union thus far in 2023 is more than three times what you would anticipate by the middle of July.

In a statement from the European Forest Fire Information System (EFFIS), there have been reported fires on about 346,000 hectares (1,370 square miles) of land (as of July 16, 2022).

A record-breaking heatwave has affected a large portion of Western Europe, greatly raising the danger of fires. At the same time, EFFIS reports that human activity is to blame for almost 95% of fires in Europe.

For timber, charcoal production, tree plantations, and to make room for agriculture, animal grazing, and settlement, forests must be cleared. All types of forests are subject to deforestation, but it is more prevalent in the tropics and boreal areas. And because of natural regeneration, there is a net increase in forest cover in temperate zones.

While deforestation generates food, fiber, and fuel, it may additionally endanger the ecosystem services that healthy, productive forests typically provide in terms of climate change, biodiversity, and food security.

The TreeNity Space team claims that there are several methods for calculating deforestation. Brazil (18.9 million hectares of net forest conversion), the Democratic Republic of the Congo (11 million hectares of net forest conversion), Indonesia (8 million hectares), Angola (5.6 million hectares), and Canada (4.5 million hectares) had the biggest areas of deforestation during the 2010s, according to the assessment of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

Most terrestrial organisms on earth, according to scientists, reside in forests. Hence, one of the major threats to many species that are needed now or in the future for human existence is deforestation.

Deforestation is therefore a serious threat to human survival as it involves chopping down, clearing, and destroying natural forests. Even though it may not necessarily be a problem that the world is very certain of currently facing, we must make sure we are making significant efforts to protect the next generation from the consequences of our current behavior.

Meanwhile, some places where fires are becoming more expected, such as throughout the Mediterranean, are seeing better safeguards and awareness campaigns.

There are becoming fewer wildfire ignitions and changes in the way people fireproof the landscape as a result of increased public awareness of the dangers of wildfire. Extreme heat waves and droughts, however, may cause an increase in fire years that continue through the long-term trend.

Improved governance, full-cost accounting, and aligning economic incentives with forest-friendly practices and policies are some of the most effective and prevalent themes that underlie efforts to combat deforestation. These themes aim to reduce resource mismanagement, illegal conversion of forests, and perverse subsidies that fuel environmental degradation.

These, however, are insufficient on their own, as one of the most effective ways to address the problem at hand is to improve accountability by strengthening transparency surrounding land use and commodity sources, which the current system lacks. In this area, among others, TreeNity seeks to make a significant impact by leveraging distributed ledger technology (DLT), also known as blockchain technology, to build a transparent, sustainable ecosystem that encourages people and organizations to work towards a greener future.

DLT or blockchain technology provides a decentralized platform that ensures transparency and traceability in the supply chain, which can help to combat issues like deforestation, land grabbing, and illegal logging. By leveraging this technology, TreeNity aims to create a sustainable ecosystem that incentivizes responsible land use and commodity-sourcing practices.

Therefore, this collaboration between TreeNity Space and the Melega ecosystem will enable TreeNity to leverage MelegaSwap’s extensive user base and liquidity pool, while Melega Space will provide technical expertise and support for the advancement of TreeNity’s ecosystem. Together, they aim to create a sustainable ecosystem that incentivizes individuals and organizations to contribute towards a greener future.

Subsequently, $TREE, the native token of the TreeNity Space ecosystem, will be listed on the MelegaSwap Automated Maker Market (AMM) decentralized exchange, where users will be able to trade, farm, and provide a liquidity pool to generate passive income for themselves.

The partnership also extends to the Melega Space, an arm of the Melega Finance ecosystem that helps projects develop the best listing strategy based on their budget, provides digital marketing strategies that include native article marketing and media channel management, offers a wide range of legal services, and provide additional services like security audits and community building and management, among other things.

Their knowledgeable and skilled team plays a crucial role in elevating cryptocurrency projects and providing key assistance to make them successful in the long run. This support includes everything from fundraising to project outreach.

TreeNity has recently listed its native token on PinkSale.finance, offering the utility token for grabs in a FAIR LAUNCH currently LIVE. The presale will run until the 27th of March 2023 at exactly 09:00 UTC.

“The world appears to be approaching a point where inhabitants will have to pay for fresh, breathable air if proper precautions are not taken. We must all stand up, start the revolution, and be proactive in ensuring a greener, healthier world for future generations,” Furkan Omer Smith, CEO and founder of TreeNity, affirmed. “TreeNity is raising funds to start the revolution and providing financial benefits to investors through its innovative use of the $TREE token.”
