- Title deed for the new location (for owners).
- Image of passport or Emirates ID number (for GCC nationals or investors)
Steps to Apply for a DEWA Account Transfer

Here is how to apply for connection transfer using the digital channels:
- Sign up and then log in on the DEWA website or application using the UAE Pass or DEWA ID.
- Click on the ‘Transfer of Electricity and Water (Move-To)’ service.
- Select the DEWA account to transfer.
- Fill out the application form and mention the deactivation date and time.
- Then provide the Ejari number of the new location.
- Clear any outstanding bill payments against the current location. The security deposit for the current DEWA account will automatically be transferred to the new premises. - Select ‘Transfer of Electricity and Water service.
- Do the verification.
- Choose a related DEWA account.
- Mention the deactivation time and date from the current premise. Then the Ejari number of new premises.
