Saudi Arabia’s efforts to become the top developed area in the region have been paying off, with the economy experiencing significant growth. According to recent data, government activities increased by 2.9%, compared to the previous gain of 2.5% in 2021. The Saudi GDP also expanded by 1.3% on quarterly seasonally adjusted data, after a growth of 1.2% in the third quarter. Additionally, the economy surged by 8.7% for the full year of 2022, a significant acceleration from the 3.9% rise observed before. This rise is a testament to the Kingdom’s investments in transportation infrastructure and urban development, which are set to transform the country and improve the lives of its citizens.

To promote economic growth and development, the government is making significant investments in its tourist and transportation infrastructure to establish a world-class system. Various initiatives are currently underway on the West Coast of the Red Sea that will transform regional mobility.
