Saniton Plastic to Unveil Its Interlocking Plastic Bottle at Munich’s Drinktec Trade Fair

NEW YORK, New York–Saniton Plastic Corporation (“Saniton Plastic”), the company that holds the patented technology of the first interlocking plastic bottle, has announced it will be presenting its flagship product for the first time at Drinktec in Munich, Germany. Between September 12-16, 2022, Saniton will be in Hall C5, booth 263, where company representatives will display the interlocking plastic bottle and answer questions about its potential for helping to reduce emissions from logistics by up to 35%.

Drinktec is the largest world trade fair for the beverage and liquid food industry. According to its website, nearly all suppliers from around the world will be present, with the goal of inspiring the world with their innovations. This year, one of Drinktec’s focuses will be Sustainable Production & Packaging, for which Saniton Plastic will be one of the exhibitors.

“We are very excited about showing global vendors our interlocking bottle that may lower the worldwide impact that plastic has on both the environment and logistics by up to 35%,” says Saniton Plastic. “We are ready to do our part to reduce emissions in logistics, and that will start in Munich, where we will discuss with vendors how to integrate our interlocking bottles into their supply chains and do their part to lower their carbon emissions blueprint without compromising on the quality of their plastic bottles.”

Plastic bottles are part of a $171.2B global industry that annually contributes to 40% of global transport emissions. 8% of global greenhouse gas emissions comes from the transport of these bottles.

Among the potential benefits that Saniton Plastic will be discussing in Munich is the ability of the interlocking bottles to stabilize each other. With potentially less shrink wrapping and cartons, the company says there can be up to 35% more room on each pallet, and storage costs may be lowered by up to 35% per square foot.

“As you can imagine, we are looking forward to being at Drinktec in Germany in September and to present our innovation to the public,” says Saniton Plastic. “We hope this will be the beginning of a reduction of carbon emissions in logistics. Ultimately, we will see fewer planes, trains, trucks, and cargo ships transporting the same number of plastic bottles. In fact, for every 1,000 trucks used to transport plastic bottles, our product will allow companies to take 350 trucks off the roads.

Saniton Plastics LLC is the only plastic bottle manufacturing company in the world with a patent on the mold used to manufacture the interlocking plastic bottle. Founded by CEO Alaa Hattab, the company is reducing the logistical costs of shipping plastic bottles worldwide and is lowering carbon emissions by up to 35%.
