Real Life Trading is Making Swing and Day Trading Easy

There’s a quote from comedian John Mulaney that summarizes the way many people feel about the stock market and investing:

“I read that this week over two days, the DOW Jones dropped 929 points, and I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to not know what that means.”

Investing can be very confusing. Terms like “diversifying your portfolio,” “asset allocation,” or “bull market” can send people running for the hills.

Real Life Trading hopes to make trading easy and accessible for even the greenest of market newbies. Real Life Trading hopes to improve understanding via empathetic education through a series of courses, mentoring, and live trading rooms on their website.

Swing and Day Trading

Two confusing terms that Real Life Trading hopes to demystify are swing and day trading. You may have heard of day trading before. Perhaps you know people who day trade as a hobby or have taken it on as a career. Maybe you have heard of swing trading as well, or it’s a term you are unfamiliar with. Real Life Trading’s mission is to help people understand the ins and outs of both so that they can take advantage of the benefits they each can offer.

Day trading involves buying and selling stocks within the same day so that risk is better managed and negative price gaps are lessened between the close of one day and the opening of another. Day traders can make a decent living off their trading, but profit isn’t guaranteed. Learning how to best approach day trading and investing in courses to learn how to navigate that world is advisable. Seeking out education on day trading means sifting through a lot of “get rich quick” rhetoric.

Swing trading is a trading strategy that seeks to benefit from price changes or “swings”. Unlike day trading, stocks are held for a few days or even weeks. Keeping trades for days or weeks can pay off with higher profits, but higher losses are the other side of that coin.

Fundamental differences exist between swing and day trading. One is not necessarily better than the other, and a person may gravitate towards one or the other based on numerous factors. They may be more risk-averse. They may not have the time or state-of-the-art technology required for effective day trading. Perhaps their personality fits better with one over the other.

Or, maybe they are still wandering the landscape of trading just as confused as ever. Enter Real Life Trading.

Real Life Trading’s Role

Understanding how the average person views the market informs Real Life Trading’s approach to education and mentorship.

Their site offers various courses geared towards everyone from the clueless beginner to the seasoned trader. Their site has also fostered community in the trading world, sparking meet-ups, conventions, and an online group allowing for support and further learning.

Real Life Trading’s CEO Jerremy Newsome has made it his goal to help people grow their financial literacy.

“Put your pinkie toe in the water!” Newsome told the Remarkable People Podcast.

Newsome jumped into the investing water with both feet early in life, sometimes losing very big in the process. He cautions people to learn from his mistakes and soak in the knowledge that Real Life Trading offers.

Newsome encourages people to invest in what they know and use, letting familiarity be their guide.

“I have a very healthy appetite for figuring out how I can help millions and millions of people,” says Newsome. One of his stated goals is changing the top 1% of the world into the top 2%. Newsome hopes by taking the mystery out of things like day trading and swing trading, he can open up that 1% world for more people.

Newsome offers a deluge of educational opportunities on the Real Life Trading website, many of them at no cost to people looking to learn.

Currently, Real Life Trading hopes to reach more people with their message of financial fitness, including the federal prison system and those in foster care.

Newsome solidly stands behind his belief that his mission of dispensing “mentally liberating education” to the masses can be achieved with the right people behind him. Taking potentially complicated topics like swing and day trading and teaching practical ways of integrating those concepts into a financial plan is how Real Life Trading stands to disrupt the trading world.
