Personal Mobility Devices Market Predicted to Increase Healthy CAGR of 6% to reach US$ 19 Billion by 2030

According to a recent analysis by Future Market Insights (FMI), the personal mobility devices market would grow at a CAGR of 6% between 2020 and 2030. Canes, crutches, wheelchairs, and other assistive aids are expected to be in great demand. Furthermore, researchers at FMI predict that sales of mobility scooters will increase, owing to the growing desire for new ways of transportation.

Personal mobility devices are in high demand, particularly among persons who are disabled or have limited movement. Physical limitations, osteoarthritis, and fractures are among conditions that might limit a person’s capacity to move. Personality mobility devices are frequently employed to help such people move around.

According to a World Health Organization study, the population of persons aged 60 and above is predicted to reach 2 billion by 2050, up from 900 million in 2015. It is common knowledge that the elderly are more susceptible to diseases and health issues, which can lead to impairment.

Between 2013 and 2015, almost 54.5 million people in the United States were affected by arthritis, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The number of people reporting impairment or activity limitation is rising over the world. This indicates that demand for personal mobility devices is expected to increase in the future years.
