We have to admit that earnings are an integral part of our lives. Moreover, there are many opportunities and options to receive money. Some of them are difficult to perform; others, on the contrary – are easier.
You can go to a stable job and get a monthly salary. There is also a passive income – one of them is an investment. I believe that it is the most difficult, but it certainly pays off all the effort and strength.
That’s not what I’m talking about today. I want to write about my experience on AppWork, which I acquired not so long ago.
In fact, I’m very skeptical of working on the Internet. We all know how to earn money by writing comments, hitting the “like” button, and typing a captcha. Of course, this kind of activity pays little.
There are more serious things – exchanges and freelance platforms. But here every person should have some skills. For example, you can bring programmers, administrators, and web designers. But what do ordinary guys like me do who want to have extra money from their jobs besides their regular jobs?
About me
I’m Justin, and I’ve been doing AppWork for about a month. I found this platform with Facebook ads, and it’s entirely accidental. Of course, I go right through these references, but this one’s caught on somehow. I was promised straightforward earnings for an unusual activity involving the placement of an app on the Google PlayMarket.
Out of curiosity, I went to the site to have a closer look with the appearance of nothing like that, pretty lovely decoration, reviews, and attached articles. But the information – it was rather suspicious to me.
The essence of the work
So the bottom line is that you should add an app on the PlayMarket. It could be a game, some phone software, whatever. It sounds simple and dull.
The developers of these applications are the ones who are doing the work. As far as I can see, they’re giving it to other people because the process can be pretty challenging. Developers simply do not want to waste time on unnecessary waiting.
Description of the main problem
What I wrote on the top looks nice, doesn’t it? So I looked for a catch – and I found it. It turns out that to get started, you need to create a Google developer account. It must be on behalf of the developer. That is the only way to upload your apps. Google charges a single-time $25 fee for creating a new developer account.
$25 just to get started!? You have to pay out of your own pocket. And, you know, I was very hesitant about the whole thing, even though I read a lot of user reviews. But there is one fact that made me decide to try.
A full refund of your funds
The official website AppWork says that after creating a “special” account, all funds will be fully refunded.
At this point, I thought that maybe it wasn’t so bad? After completing the task, I want to inform you that the money has actually been refunded.
Immediately after registering, the amount of $25 was already on hold. It turns out that the developer account I created was completely free.
Get started on the AppWork platform
Now I will tell you a little more about the beginning and the process.
- First, you need to go to the AppWork website and register. In general, it takes no more than 5 minutes. You need to enter your phone number, wait for the call to receive, and enter the verification code.
- The next thing you need is to come up with a secure password.
- Then you will need to create a developer account in Google, which I told you about earlier.
Performing tasks
When I started the first task, it didn’t seem very difficult. The developer provides a file with the application and gives detailed instructions. There were no questions there. I spent no more than one hour on this. Just imagine, I actually got $15 and a free developer account that costs $25 for 1 hour of work. Not bad, would you agree?
After completing the task, I received $15 in the hold. Then the moderators checked the job, and I could withdraw this money. It didn’t take long. Now I am given tasks to update the application every 14 days. For this, I get another $5 to $15. The jobs are already more straightforward, and I can easily cope with them.
Are these apps safe?
It is quite an interesting question that I asked at the beginning of working on the platform. Still, it’s worth starting with the fact that moderators check absolutely every mobile application on Google Play for up to several days. If the application is questionable, then it will not pass moderation in Google. Thus, the appearance of malware is simply impossible.
Secondly, you can check the applications yourself by installing the APK file on your phone. This way, you will be able to understand what kind of application you will eventually publish. This step is optional, but if there are doubts, then why not check it yourself?
