“Our approach to acquisitions has dramatically shifted under our new executive team and the strategic guidance from our investors at Reverence Capital Partners,” said Pat O’Donnell, CEO of Ministry Brands. “We’re embracing a two-pronged approach. First, we aim to continually innovate and enhance our industry-leading products. Simultaneously, we are actively exploring opportunities to acquire leading solution providers from inside and outside our industry that align with and complement our current portfolio. Our focus is to integrate market-leading solutions for holistic, seamless solutions rather than simply aggregating more standalone companies. This dynamic strategy ensures we are best equipped to meet our customers’ evolving needs.”
The company is dedicated to pushing the digital and technological boundaries so organizations can focus on communications and human impact – the aspects of an organization that Ministry Brands considers critical. In the first half of 2023 the company actively expanded its offerings through product launches, feature enhancements and acquisitions, enabling the rapid deployment of of innovation leveraging the Ministry’s Brands’ full product portfolio.
In May, Ministry Brands introduced more than 230 features for two solutions that are part of its DonorDirect nonprofit donor management platform. StudioEnterprise is a full-scale CRM for large nonprofits with complex donor relations needs and wide geographic footprints. StudioEssentials is designed for mid-size nonprofits who need a more streamlined system to effectively raise funds and manage donor relations.
In July, Ministry Brands acquired Church Motion Graphics, a leading ministry-focused design studio dedicated to creating eye-catching background graphics and videos for use in worship environments.
“Church Motion Graphics is a natural fit for the tens of thousands of customers who rely on Ministry Brand’s suite of offerings, and an integral part of our vision for the future of faith-based community management,” O’Donnell said. “The ability for purpose driven organizations to deliver the look and feel of quality faith-aligned content, that is also engaging and impactful, is an incredibly valuable addition to the suite of solutions we offer our clients.”
Key feature enhancements include improved functionality for organizations supporting international missionaries by strengthening security around giving campaigns and pledges, and a new portal for setting and managing budgets. Clients also now have enhanced donor address management, access to an Oracle NetSuite accounting integration and enhanced APIs for real-time shipping of donor mailings.
Earlier this year, the company unveiled a host of tools for Ministry Brands Amplify™, its flagship, cloud-based, all-in-one church management platform for knowing, growing, managing, funding and engaging congregations. Its revolutionary technology integrates member management, digital giving, mobile app tools, website management and church streaming solutions in one place using a single sign-on.
New features of Ministry Brands’ offerings include website solutions and scalable live streaming that are both key to attracting and retaining large constituencies.
In terms of website solutions, the company can create multiple websites with customizable templates, intuitive editing tools and seamless content integrations that don’t require coding skills.
For live streaming, Ministry Brands has enabled a capability that can integrate into websites and mobile apps, making it seamless to publish sermons and events in both places.
The addition of more solutions to the platform is expected later in the year. Ministry Brands has a robust product roadmap that aims to allow churches to manage nearly every aspect of their operation with a single sign-on.
By delivering platforms, solutions and services, and support, Ministry Brands helps its clients manage administrative and financial functions, allowing them to focus on communications and personalization they deliver to community members and employees.
