Top cryptocurrency exchange, LBank, contributes to the local group — Rock and Anchor, to aid children in rural India.
This charity initiative spurs from the exchange’s magnanimous effort to reach several local communities in different parts of the world in a bid to reduce poverty and social exclusion of the poorer regions.
LBank visited four schools in Dehene and Khokarachiwadi villages where students were given educational materials to support them in their academic pursuits.
To hedge against the monsoon season, the pupils were provided with the necessary gear. The female students also received well-packaged sanitary kits and other feminine accessories.
At first glance, one could assume that these items are extremely simple and superfluous, but because these communities are so far from the city, they do not have easy access to daily necessities.
It was a memorable experience for the team who participated in the outreach as the impact was so instantaneous that the kids started utilising some of the materials almost immediately.
