For Jinane Abou Mrad, business has never been only about selling more. It has been about understanding people, helping them recognize what they are capable of and giving them the confidence and practical tools to build something greater for themselves. That philosophy has taken her from a scientific background in Lebanon into business development, sales, entrepreneurship, coaching and leadership, eventually shaping a career that today reaches far beyond the boundaries of any single industry.
Abou Mrad originally came from an academic background far removed from the traditional image of a sales professional. Trained in biology and industrial technology, she developed the analytical discipline of science before moving deeper into business development and entrepreneurship. What followed was not an overnight success story, but a decade shaped by persistence, changing markets, difficult environments and the continuous challenge of learning how to build businesses through people.
Her entrepreneurial journey began in Lebanon, a market where building internationally connected businesses presented its own set of challenges. Access to major global opportunities was not always straightforward, and developing organizations across the Middle East required patience, persuasion and the ability to see potential before others necessarily saw it. Instead of allowing those circumstances to narrow her ambitions, they helped shape the resilience that would later become central to the way she teaches business.
Over the years, Abou Mrad developed particular expertise in sales systems, customer development and building communities around a shared vision. Her own public positioning states that her commercial journey has contributed to more than $8 million in sales, activity across 32 countries and relationships with more than 23,000 customers. Those figures tell part of the story, but the larger lesson behind them is the importance she places on understanding human behaviour rather than treating sales simply as a transaction.
For Abou Mrad, great salespeople are not necessarily those who speak the loudest. They are often the ones who listen carefully, understand what a customer actually needs and build enough trust for a commercial relationship to develop naturally. That same philosophy has informed her approach to networking. She views strong networks as communities of people who are capable of supporting, developing and eventually leading others, rather than simply collections of contacts.
That perspective would become increasingly important as her career evolved from personally building businesses into developing other entrepreneurs. Today, Abou Mrad publicly describes herself as a trainer, speaker, sales and business coach focused on helping entrepreneurs grow their sales and customer bases. She has also been featured within executive education environments as a sales systems consultant, reflecting a career that has increasingly moved toward transferring what she has learned to others.
At the center of that next chapter is a phrase that captures much of her philosophy: “I Believe in You.” It became the name behind the digital marketing venture she founded in the UAE, but it also represents something larger in Abou Mrad’s work. Entrepreneurship can often appear to revolve around strategy, technology and capital, yet she believes that many people struggle long before those factors become relevant because they have not developed the confidence to believe they can build something meaningful in the first place.
That message has particular significance in her work with women. Across many societies, women are increasingly becoming entrepreneurs, business owners and organizational leaders while simultaneously balancing expectations surrounding family, culture and traditional career paths. Abou Mrad’s approach to women’s empowerment is therefore rooted less in slogans and more in economic capability. Helping a woman understand sales, build a customer base, develop leadership skills and create an independent business ca
