HP has introduced its latest addition to the HP Pavilion Plus lineup – the HP Pavilion Plus 16 laptop – featuring a 16-inch display and powerful NVIDIA RTX graphics. This groundbreaking release, according to WatcherTechno, a news company covering technology and business, showcases HP’s commitment to delivering high-performance mid-range laptops with cutting-edge features.
The Pavilion Plus series has gained recognition for offering top-notch features such as 16:10 displays with slim bezels, comfortable keyboards and touchpads, and robust specifications. The Pavilion Plus 16 model takes this reputation to the next level, catering to serious users in the business and education sectors. The laptop is powered by the latest Intel Core i7 processors of the 13th generation, including the Intel Core i7-13700H (14 cores, 20 threads), and features the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics processor.
The Pavilion Plus 16 comes equipped with a 16.5-inch VRR display boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2.5K resolution of 2560 x 1600. WatcherTechno indicates, that additional specifications of the Pavilion Plus 16 include 16GB of LPDDR5x-5200 MHz RAM, a 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe TLC M.2 solid-state drive, a range of ports including Thunderbolt 4 with USB power delivery, USB 3.2 Type-C, USB Type-A, a headphone/microphone combo jack, and HDMI 2.1. The laptop is also equipped with Wi-Fi 6E, B&O audio technology, and a 68Wh battery capable of up to 11 hours and 45 minutes of mixed usage or 15 hours and 45 minutes of video playback. The HP Pavilion Plus 16 will be available for purchase starting from October, priced at $1000, in natural silver or warm gold color options. It will be available on hp.com, Costco, and Amazon.
In addition to the Pavilion Plus 16, HP has also updated the Pavilion Plus 14 model for 2023. The Pavilion Plus 14 will offer an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 7840H processor and Radeon Premium Pro or 780M graphics, with Intel options available as well. The laptop will feature optional displays, including a 14-inch OLED model with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 2880 x 1800 resolution, 48-120Hz HDR, and improved IMAX certification. The Pavilion Plus 14 is tailored for entertainment and content creation, making it an excellent choice for a wide range of users.
The Pavilion Plus 14 boasts 16GB of LPDDR5x-6400 MHz RAM (upgradable to 32GB) and a PCIe Gen4 NVMe TLC M.2 solid-state drive. While lacking a Thunderbolt 4 port, the laptop includes HDMI 2.1, a pair of USB 3.2 Type-C (10 Gbps) ports, two USB-A ports, and a headphone/microphone combo jack. Two battery options are available, with capacities of 51Wh and 68Wh, providing up to 12 hours and 30 minutes of mixed usage or 13 hours and 30 minutes of FHD video playback.
The Pavilion Plus 14 will be available for purchase on hp.com starting from September, priced at $850. It will come in natural silver, lunar light, and tranquil pink color options. The laptop will also be available on Amazon (both Intel and AMD models), as well as on Costco.com and BestBuy.com (AMD model only). Additionally, HP has introduced the new programmable Bluetooth mouse 420/425, which can be purchased for $30 on hp.com and Amazon.
