Google Startups Accelerator Program in India
The search engine technology giant Google said on Thursday that its opening applications for startups accelerator: AI first program in India for 2024, that the program will be free for three months to support startups solving problems across diverse industries and use cases using AI.
Google said that India is home to the world’s third largest startup ecosystem,with AI startup companies such as immunitoAI, which helps discover antibodies faster, SpoofSense which helps combat identity fraud, or Gan.ai personalizing videos at scale, tackling challenges across diverse sectors.
“Today we’re excited to open applications for the Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First program in India for 2024. The program provides three months of equity-free support to startups solving problems across varied industries and use cases using AI,” Google said.
According to the search engine, startups that are selected will receive guidance on building human-centered and responsible AI solutions, access to the Google mentor network, training across design, marketing, and leadership, and access to tech stack credits and state-of-the-art AI tools.
Google said that their Startups Accelerator: AI First is one of the several accelerator programs we offer throughout the year across the world, bringing the best of Google to early-stage startups using artificial intelligence, machine learning, and Cloud technology to tackle some of the most urgent global challenges.
For startups to qualify to apply for the program, they must be based in India, and use AI in their core solution or product, including generative AI preferably between Seed to Series A stages, Google said.
