This article shows how the GONT platform can become one of the basic systems for deploying a new model of Wikipedia project.
Particularly, GONT can provide a technical and economic blockchain platform for monetizing Wikipedia’s digital values without intermediaries like Google. A new principle of Wikipedia’s digital value monetization can occur through their combination with the digital values of billions of ordinary users who will be able to use Wikipedia’s extensive verified ontological knowledge as showcases for their digital values.
More detailed about this idea:
GONT is a blockchain platform, an Ethereum fork, with a unique virtual machine, consisting of multiple cores, each of which has a user-owner that monetizes core calculations through an alternative gas.
The GONT approach not only solves the problem of sharding and parallel computing in a virtual machine, but most importantly it changes the Ethereum economic ecosystem due to the DECENTRALIZATION of the service gas, which in fact is monopolized in Ethereum.
Decentralization of the Gas (GONT Algas concept) enables any user to monetize their intellectual or physical work through the core of the virtual blockchain machine. The commission or royalty of the user is protected in a specific Algas which is burned while running its core in a virtual machine. In fact, each core in a shared virtual machine is a micro-service that the user owns and receives its commission when this micro-service is launched, through a share in the «burned” Algas.
In addition, thanks to the GONT VALUECHAIN (GVC) principle, the platform implements the ability to create complex services consisting of any number of micro-services or cores.
How can this be useful for implementing the new Wikipedia monetization principle?
In fact, we can apply the GVC principle for nodes of the Wikipedia Ontology tree, for the new principle of monetization of the Wikipedia project in general and Wikipedia authors in particular.
In other words, we can load the Wikipedia Ontology Knowledge tree into Oracle GONT, which also has a hierarchical structure. Each knowledge of Wikipedia will be formalized in a separate micro-service (or the core of a virtual blockchain machine), where Wikipedia will be the owner (possibly together with the author of the article). Next, we can create an interface in which users can add their micro-services to Wikipedia-knowledge, which will be for them a showcase of traffic attraction. Then, according to the GVC principle, if one of the customized micro-services tied to the Wiki node (worked out the chain of cores), its commission in algas will get the core of the Wiki showcase, the core of the micro-service.
For example, the Wiki has a biography page of Cristiano Ronaldo, which, among other things, attracts traffic to football fans and his personal fans. Someone from the football coaches-users can link to this page a micro-service course of video lessons on playing football for children. Someone will tie a micro-service book on the history of Portugal football and so on! When the end user uses micro-services, the commission leaves the creator of the micro service, Wikipedia and the author of the article on the Wiki about Ronaldo – on the principle of GVC. And all this without mediation and third-part commissions like Google.
Such chains as “value in value” can be arbitrarily much in GONT and they can be created by independent end users.
Complementarity with the current idea of Wikpedia independent of advertising is that the monetization of digital values of ordinary users will occur without commissions of a third part or other ad networks.
Thank you for attention! Good luck!
