E-Summit 2022 IIT Roorkee is an initiative by the Entrepreneurship Cell of IIT-Roorkee, previously known as Entrepreneurship Development Cell IIT Roorkee (EDC IITR), which has been established with the objective of creating, fostering, and promoting the spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth of the nation. Created in the early months of 2006, the Entrepreneurship Development Cell has already taken rapid strides in cultivating entrepreneurial temper and has succeeded in carving a niche for itself.
This initiative doesn’t only want to ignite the minds but also to nurture the ideas of one of the most talented students of India. E-Cell IIT Roorkee is committed to building a strong platform for budding entrepreneurs. The vision is to guide the students to take entrepreneurship as a career, as a path to success, as a journey of wisdom.
The E-Summit 2022 IIT Roorkee is a virtual meet and will act as a platform to connect like-minded entrepreneurs and business leaders for proper guidance and direction to our budding startups.

We, the E-Cell perpetrate every initiative with utmost zeal and acumen, the assorted group catalogs as everyone is oriented towards one goal of taking entrepreneurship to the populace. We are quite ardent about experimenting with new ideas, to take exploit the unexplored so we take up new substantial and improved initiatives whenever possible. - Design Case Challenge – Brainstorm your way through mind-boggling problem statements based on real-world dilemmas to ideate, innovate and present a creative, practical, and sustainable solution.
- Startup Expo – A great platform for a startup to showcase themselves and interact with anyone they want to, be it customers, industries, professionals and businessmen, or investors. A great ground to receive 360-degree feedback.
- Investors’ Vista – Gives you the opportunity to step into the shoes of an investor and build the mindset to grow organically and scale.
- Sale-Able – In order to build a product one must understand the physiology of customers, market place. Without effective marketing and sales strategy a company, many go unnoticed. A great competition to test your sales and marketing skills.
- Ideastorm -It is an annual case-building competition that focuses on ideas and applicability.
- Productathon – Building the product from the idea is a challenge to explore new possibilities and build something worth sharing.
