Content guidelines

Every article, sponsored post and press release is checked against these guidelines before it is published.

Core requirements

  • Articles and sponsored posts: at least 1,000 words, 100% original, written for TechBullion and not published anywhere else. No duplicate, plagiarised, spun or thin content.
  • Press releases: at least 500 words.
  • The same content is never published twice on TechBullion.
  • People first: written to help readers, in line with Google's guidance on helpful content.
  • Experience and expertise: accurate data with credible sources, expert insight, original analysis or real examples, from a real, identifiable author whose profile reflects relevant experience.
  • Responsible use of AI: AI-assisted writing only where it is substantially shaped by human expertise. Mass-generated content is rejected.
  • A featured image of at least 1200 x 600 pixels that you hold the rights to, ideally 1600 x 900 (16:9 widescreen). Licensed stock images only.

Subject focus: fintech and technology only

  • FinTech and digital banking
  • AI and automation
  • Blockchain and Web3
  • Cybersecurity and digital trust
  • Cloud computing and infrastructure
  • Startups, innovation and digital transformation
  • Off-topic submissions are not published.

Preferred structure

  • An accurate headline that tells readers what they gain (no clickbait), between 20 and 110 characters.
  • An introduction with a hook.
  • Descriptive subheadings.
  • Data, expert insight or examples for every major claim.
  • Practical takeaways and a forward-looking conclusion.
  • Internal links to TechBullion articles where relevant, and no more than 3 links to other websites. No shortened or affiliate links.

Not accepted

  • Betting, casinos, gambling, skin gambling, poker, slots and lotteries.
  • Cannabis, CBD and kratom.
  • Smoking, tobacco, vaping and nicotine.
  • Firearms and weapons.
  • Pharmaceuticals, drugs, peptides and supplements.
  • Fake engagement, fake reviews and fabricated content.
  • Cloud mining contracts.
  • Misleading or deceptive information, and negative or defamatory material.
  • Copyrighted content or images you do not have the rights to.
  • Nudity and adult content, including links to it.
