Communications Expert Ira Kucheck Joins Telephony Pioneer for Microsoft Teams SIPPIO as Sales Director

Microsoft Teams SIPPIO as Sales Director

SIPPIO, the only company to offer no-code subscription services that activate outbound calling in Microsoft Teams with Direct Routing as a service, announced that former SYNNEX executive, Ira Kucheck, has been appointed SIPPIO US Channel Sales Director.

Headquartered in Annapolis, MD, SIPPIO is the largest, secure Azure-based provider of voice calling services for Microsoft Teams, globally. As a Microsoft co-sell partner, SIPPIO provides automation and carrier services to enable Direct Routing as a Service in Teams

Working from home or office, commuting or traveling, SIPPIO keeps employees connected to their phones at all times. With native integration into Microsoft Teams, users can place and receive telephone calls from any device running Teams, including computers, tablets, smartphones, and Teams compatible desktop and conference phones.

Instead of wasting weeks on costly, complex migrations, SIPPIO leverages automation from end-to-end, simplifying provisioning, user onboarding, call routing and governance.

With SIPPIO, adding full outbound calling capabilities to Teams requires no hardware or professional services. In fact, activating new accounts, at scale, takes no more than 10 minutes.

Ira Kucheck: The History

Ira Kucheck has years of experience working in the telecommunications industry, helping firms build various advanced solutions and as well as developing new business pipelines. Kucheck started his career nearly three decades ago, with his first major role in 1998 as a product manager for a VoIP firm. He then moved on to Avaua, another California based VoIP firm, for which he increased sales from $140 million to $200 million in the space of two years.

At SYNNEX, Ira Kucheck successfully grew the master agent’s partnership ecosystem, driving mass adoption of services.

SIPPIO US Channel Sales Director

In the few weeks since joining SIPPIO, Kucheck has already made his presence felt. The channel partners and resellers he’s onboarded are notably impressed with how quick and easy it is to voice-enable Microsoft Teams with SIPPIO Direct Routing as a service.

On his decision to join SIPPIO, Ira said, “I joined SIPPIO because no other company can match the quality, flexibility, simplicity, and value it brings to the entire partner ecosystem.”

SIPPIO Chief Operations Officer Dawn-Marie Elder was visibly excited about Ira’s decision to join the company, stating that, “We are elated to have Ira on the SIPPIO team as his experience, demeanour and understanding of what solutions providers need to compete is unparalleled. Ira is a genuine industry pioneer whose enthusiasm for supporting new technology adoption is contagious. Whether introducing the world’s earliest iterations of Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) or deploying the first commercial IP-PBX with NBX Corporation, Ira’s been there and done that.”

SIPPIO’s Solutions

Among the reasons Kucheck joined SIPPIO is the company’s commitment to enabling partners with cloud-native services that are secure, scalable and eliminate migration complexities. In addition, Kucheck emphasized how SIPPIO enables partners to create new monthly recurring revenue streams while helping their enterprise customers maximize the value of their current investment in Microsoft 365

Most importantly, adding voice to Teams with SIPPIO provides channel partners, MSPs and integrators with a significant competitive advantage for penetrating an addressable market of more than 250 million Teams-entitled users.

SIPPIO helps firms add outbound calling to Microsoft Teams at a pricepoint accessible for businesses of all sizes and in all industries. Unlike other solutions that require weeks to build and which are quite costly, SIPPIO leverages end-to-end automation and global coverage that allows partners to scale worldwide.

For partners, the SIPPIO Voice Panel automates provisioning, onboarding, routing and governance; activating new user calling services takes just 10 minutes. As a cloud-based service that uses Microsoft’s own Azure service, voice-enabling Teams with SIPPIO Direct routing as a service extends the platform’s utility as full-service communication and collaboration platform.

Unlike legacy telephony infrastructure, Microsoft Teams is a cloud service that lets employees connect and collaborate with colleagues and work from anywhere. All they need is a device that is connected online, be it a mobile, computer or tablet.
