Carmel Partners’ Design Driven Projects Finds Success in Denver

At the base of the Flatiron mountains and near the Rock Mountain’s regional trail system, RockVue appeals to young professionals with a 5,000-square-foot community center with a fully equipped high-tech cyber lounge, outdoor lounge, and a gear repair shop for skis, snowboards, bikes, and other recreational gear. Carmel Partners successfully designed RockVue with the amenity package of a large urban property, while providing a boutique feeling and catering to outdoor enthusiasts in this coveted area.

The second example of Carmel Partners’ successful design approach tailored to fit Denver’s local character is the 408-unit luxury apartment community named Pearl DTC. Carmel Partners’ vision for this project emulates a boutique hotel-inspired experience on a 16.5-acre site in the Denver Tech Center. The Denver Tech Center submarket is home to many of the state’s top employers, making it a popular destination with the business community. To connect with this sophisticated resident base, Carmel Partners designed three-story walk-up apartment homes complete with individual garages. The community name Pearl is based on the spacious and stylish homes nestled among beautifully landscaped pathways and pocket parks. Carmel Partner’s hotel-inspired amenity design in conjunction with open space elevates the experience at this distinctive project.

Carmel Partners applies the same attention to thoughtful design to make each new project an authentic part of its respective Denver neighborhood. Another example is Carmel’s downtown development, Westend, located in Denver’s Riverfront between highly sought-after LoHi and LoDo neighborhoods. This location capitalizes on the urban living experience of the area’s authentic mix of restaurants, boutiques, and charming local businesses. Carmel Partners designed Westend to align with this dynamic urban neighborhood. Entering the site, you are welcomed by a stunning clubhouse complete with a cascading waterfall from the expansive rooftop amenity lounge and pool which offer uninterrupted views of the Denver skyline. Carmel Partner’s strategically positioned Westend as an enclave and lush urban retreat within Denver city limits, which is both livable and walkable to the best the city has to offer.

Carmel Partners’ development strategy which seamlessly aligns with the design aesthetic of coveted Denver neighborhoods plays an important role in the success of each project. Carmel Partners’ Platt Park multifamily development, The Henry, won several design awards including the 2019 Pillar Award Finalist for Best Mid-Rise Apartment Community and Best Multifamily Housing Community Gold Nugget Award of Merit Winner. The Henry’s architectural design was influenced by the historic bungalows and Arts and Crafts movement of the Platt Park neighborhood. The Henry also integrates artwork that inspired the property to be named after Henry Read, an influential Denver artist and painter affiliated with the Prairie School movement.
