On the MoneyConf stage, Serhii Zakharov will give founders one simple question that shows whether their business is ready to grow abroad.

Here is a question most tech teams have never asked themselves: if we opened a new country next Monday, could we get paid there by Friday?

According to Serhii Zakharov, Founder and CEO of PayDo, the answer says more about a company’s readiness to grow than most dashboards do. On 11 November, he will explain why on the MoneyConf stage at Web Summit.

A message crosses the planet in a second. A pizza order can be tracked to the door in real time. Yet money sent across a border can still sit as “pending” for days. Serhii’s talk looks at why this happens and how it quietly affects growing companies at every stage, from the first invoice paid to a freelancer abroad to running teams and customers in dozens of countries.

The session is interactive and built for a broad audience. Attendees will play a short game at the start, find out which of the five growth stages their company is in, and leave with a practical checklist they can use with their team the next morning. No finance background required.

“Messages travel at the speed of light. Money still travels at the speed of paperwork. That should embarrass our industry a little, and it’s exactly what we’re working to change,” says Serhii Zakharov, Founder and CEO of PayDo.

After the talk, visitors can bring their own answer to the ten-second test to the PayDo team at stand E451.
