You’re an Inspiring person to a lot of people, can you tell me a little about yourself?
My name is Brad R Lambert – I’m a Producer, Talent Manager and International Speaker in Los Angeles, CA.
I’m originally from Pittsburgh, PA – A blue collar city, a sports town…filled with kind, empathetic, hard-working people. I spent the first 10 years of my career in the sports industry working with professional athletes and sports teams. I then made my way out to Los Angeles to work in the entertainment industry, starting with Robert Downey Jr. After that I spent the next few years with Warner Bros., and I’ve been independent ever since.
In regards to inspiring people, I really try. Life is hard enough, so I try to add value in as many situations as I can as often as I can. With that, I try to to elevate and inspire the people around me. Sometimes a little act of kindness can go a long way – If you could do something to help someone, or change someone’s life, why wouldn’t you do it?
We can all make a difference in this world, IF we care enough to do so.
It takes a lot for someone to achieve your level of success. To what do you attribute your win?
Resiliency, Tenacity and Patience – Failure, setbacks and adversity are inevitable. You have to be able to stay focused, pick yourself back up, learn from your mistakes and keep moving forward. Having said that, this is where tenacity and patience come next. You need to have the persistence and determination to keep going, even when things are difficult or going completely wrong. When things aren’t moving fast enough, or happening as quickly as you imagined, you have to stay patient and diligent in working towards your goal(s) and you can’t allow yourself to get discouraged.
Focus on winning each and every day. Little wins, each and every day, lead to big results.
If someone would want to emulate your career, what would you suggest are the most important things to do?
You hear a lot of people today preaching “Don’t care what anyone else thinks!” – That advice could not be more incorrect. We’ve all heard the quote, “Image is everything, perception is reality.” If someone perceives you to be a jerk, you are a jerk. Regardless of how you feel about yourself, that person will tell everyone they know that you are a jerk. Having said that, it’s SO important to care about what other people think, especially their opinion of you. If they have good things to say, you are golden. Put genuine time and effort into ensuring people have good things to say about you – Be kind, treat others with respect, add value and elevate those around you. It’s impossible to please everyone, but if you make an effort to care about other people instead of just yourself, good things will happen.
What are the most exciting projects you are working on now?
I’m grateful to be working on a ton of different projects with a lot of good people right now. I’m working on a film slate, developing a non-scripted series, speaking at universities and events around the world, producing a multitude of content, managing some really talented individuals and writing a children’s book.
At the end of the day, I’m just chasing my passions and trying to add whatever value I can around them to make them a bigger part of my life. At the same time, I’m trying to help as many people as I can – While I’m working hard to make my dreams come true, I’m going to try to assist others in achieving theirs.
“If you’re not making someone else’s life better, then you’re wasting your time. Your life will become better by making other lives better.” – Will Smith
