Location, July 22, 2022 — Bowled.io, a Singapore-based social gaming platform, has acquired NPL, a Bengaluru-based Web3 gaming studio, which went live with their first title just a few weeks back on Google Playstore.
This strategic move is the first acquisition for Bowled.io. As a result, Bowled will be able to meet its vision of becoming the Netflix of blockchain gaming and offer users multiple game formats with the same economy and rewards distribution system.
With this acquisition, Bowled.io also plans to host ‘originals,’ which are the games built, owned, and operated (BO&O) in-house, and also work with a network of partner studios to bring more game formats to the platform.
NPL brings over 20 years of experience in developing game formats for Utility and Unreal. NFT Premier League (NPL.io) is already live on Playstore and being tested by alpha users.
