BTC OCT (42)

Bitcoin owners checking the market on November 3 saw two kinds of risk, a weak price and stolen coins. Attackers emptied hot wallets on BTCPay Server merchant sites running old versions. About $1.63 million in BTC and litecoin was traced to them. The theft hit keys kept online, while BTC itself slipped about 2% before steadying near $77,770. So the Bitcoin price question is whether buyers treat a merchant software flaw as a problem with the coin.

While payment servers deal with the breach, traders are moving toward platforms that never hold their coins. Pepeto, a presale meme coin with AI behind its tools, is building one.

Bitcoin Price Holds $77,000 but Sits 12% Below Its 2026 Open

BTC trades near $77,770 on November 3, about 12% below the $87,500 price where 2026 began. Support sits at the 50 week average near $75,600, about 2% lower, with $75,000 under it. Moreover, a close above $79,500, about 3% up, would put buyers back in control.

BTC has never closed two calendar years in a row in the red. 2025 already ended below its open, so its own history leans toward a stronger finish.

However, getting back to $87,500 by December 31 takes a gain of about 14%. At a value near $1.5 trillion, that means roughly $200 billion of new money. A $1,000 buyer and a $10 million fund both earn that same 14%, no more.

So the Bitcoin price can recover on its own record, while the BTCPay losses show that the danger sits wherever coins are stored online. Pepeto is building an exchange that never stores its users’ coins, and its token still sells at a first price.

Pepeto Buyers Back an Exchange That Never Holds Their Coins

The BTCPay drains hit coins sitting on online servers. That is why money is going into Pepeto: its exchange never holds anyone’s coins. So it keeps no store of user funds to drain. The token belongs to an AI powered trading platform.

PepetoSwap, now in development, keeps every trade inside the trader’s own wallet and sends orders through a private relay. This guard protects them from front running bots by default. It charges 0.00% per trade. A $1,000 swap costs $3 on Uniswap and $2.50 on PancakeSwap, but only network gas on PepetoSwap. Therefore, 20 such trades a month keep $50 to $60 with the trader.

Beside the exchange, the team has a $0 fee bridge and an AI risk scanner in development, both in private testing with community members and big investors. Holders earn 160% APY on staked tokens, and the supply stays fixed at 420 trillion across every chain.

The raise behind that product, more than $11.2 million, equals less than a thousandth of a percent of BTC’s value. So new money that would barely move BTC counts for much more in Pepeto.

Until the expected Binance listing, the current stage at $0.0000001905 holds only until it fills or its deadline passes, and each stage after it costs more.

Conclusion

The BTCPay drains and the election day dip show how fast risk in crypto moves from the coin to where it is stored. BTC bottomed at $3,122 in December 2018 and reached about $64,800 in April 2021, so $5,000 at the low grew to roughly $104,000 for anyone who stayed.

For a buyer weighing the Bitcoin price at $77,770, BTC offers about 14% back to its yearly open. Pepeto offers a self custody exchange at a first price, with its Binance debut expected.

Wallets that watched the 2018 lows pass now have a first stage in front of them again. Last cycle made fortunes for the wallets that moved first, and for anyone who still regrets that, Pepeto is the clearest second chance, at a price that rises before the listing arrives.
